John Volpe's Online Review Report Card

Dr Volpe was assigned to do my biopsy; I could not have chosen a more perfect person with whom to trust a stressful procedure! Dr. Volpe is compassionate, gentle, caring, and attentive. He made the procedure as stress-free as it could be, with amiable chatter and explanations along the way.

I met Dr. Volpe by chance as he was assigned to do my biopsy and there was no appointment before the procedure. He is warm and personable and thoroughly explained what he would do before and during the procedure. He and his staff did everything possible to make me comfortable during a very uncomfortable procedure. When the test results were back, he was quick to call me and explained them in detail along with further recommendations and he could not have been nicer. Many doctors could learn a lot from Dr. Volpe's kind and considerate manner.

I highly recommend Dr. Volpe. I had several questions about UT and MRI test results just prior to my wife's breast cancer surgery. When I explained my concerns to Dr. Volpe, he went out of his way to go back and review prior test results, then bring me into the viewing room and go over her MRI in detail with me. He then performed an extensive UT and mammogram to be sure that every potential malignant area was identified and targeted prior to surgery. As a result, all suspect nodes were removed.

Dr. Volpe is incredible. He is so gentle, courteous, personal, and have a great sense of humor. Most importantly, he is very thorough and I can trust his diagnostic results . I don’t have a choice of picking doctors when I go to Jefferson. I feel it’s a real blessing when I happen to get him to do exam for me. He takes time to explain things to me in layman’s term and make sure that I understand. He is a real gem!

I do not think I have ever met a more compassionate, easy to work with physician of this type in my life! He was SO reassuring and gentle! I felt absolutely nothing, he numbed the area so well! His bedside manner is amazing! I felt like I was not just a number- I felt so important and trusted his every move. He had humor also which helps a very tense situation! Dr. Volpe is a phenomenal doctor. I usually do not write doctor reviews, however I was so impressed by Dr. Volpe that I wanted to share... He was so completely compassionate and thorough in explaining the procedure and respectful of my dignity and feelings as a human being. HeI asked questions about who I am, injected humor and personal stories, and quite possibly had the most genuine and respectful bedside manner of any doctor i have ever encountered! Many doctors could learn from him!!
