Mario Flores Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Flores has been our primary doctor for more than 10 years as we followed him from his earlier practice in western Massachusetts.

Dr. Flores is an excellent doctor and a compassionate man. He listens to my concerns and genuinely cares that I am satisfied with my appointment. I have been a patient of his for 15+ years. He always responds quickly to my texts, and his staff is accommodating. Dr. Flores is an outstanding physician.

Good doctor, awful staff. The worst. I've had to go back for the same blood test multiple times (5 to be exact) and still not done 7 months later. (More than a few times) Prescriptions get sent without being checked over and altered if need be, forcing you to call and nag people just to get it filled, everytime you need a prescription. It's like playing phone tag. If you mention any problem they will just get ignored. They don't follow covid protocols for everyone and allow people into confined waiting room without checking every temperature. They will keep saying you're next in line then just ignore you. If you say anything, you're the bad guy. It's your fault. The amount of times things were not handled correctly is astronomical. I understand stuff is tough right now, but you should never blame the patient for asking you to do a job like filling a prescription CORRECTLY, or scheduling appointments CORRECTLY, or taking appointments in order. Simple stuff everyone should do at a DOCTOR'S OFFICE. If they got a problem with staff and say something, then fix the problem instead of blaming the patient and saying you don't want to hear complaints. If they did the job correctly that they were supposed to, then none of this would have happened. Instead it has snowballed out of control. I wouldn't be surprised if my insurance kept getting charged for all these times I went for blood work and it never got done.

Very supportive to patients and family. Takes his time to listen to his patients. Very easy to make appointment with him. I recommend Dr Flores as the best PCP

No such thing as follow-up work at this place. The doctor is great, but that's where it ends. If you need someone to confirm a Rx approval to your mail order supplier, you have a loooooong wait.

I have stayed with this doctor for quite a few years due to the quality of care he gives and the fact he accepts my insurance. Always conducts tests thoroughly and follows up consistently. Also very pleasant to deal with and will arrange referrals when needed, without hesitation. However, the office at his office(Neighborhood Health Center) is a mess. This place hosts several doctors. Phone hold times are insane. They repeatedly fail to call in prescriptions, even when bugged multiple times by you, the pharmacy, and the doctor. Scheduling also stinks and it's not uncommon to receive a call for an appointment change. In credit to doctor Flores, he did start calling in my medications himself, after numerous failures by the office, and continues to do so as a favor to me. He does really work with you, even if the issue itself has to do with the office. It shouldn't reflect on him as a doctor, but probably does. He should go somewhere that has competent office staff that do him justice.
