Peter Bosco's Online Review Report Card

I am a physician and the reason I say this is that if this doctor can treat another doctor the way he did with me then I feel deeply for any patients that go to him. I had a surgical Procedure on a Friday and had to stay overnight at St. Francis Hartford. Dr. Bosco was cross covering My urologist when he came to round on me post-op the following morning and he had the slightest interest in acknowledging me. He had the junior resident check my wound and discharge me. He didn’t even take a peak at my surgical site and kept walking in and out of my room telling the resident that the other patient was ready to go. When he entered the room I asked him who he was… I then asked if he was the attending and just shook his head turned around and walked out of the room leaving the junior resident alone. I’m not sure if he acted this way because I wasn’t his direct patient and he was covering but it was terribly unprofessional. I hope this review helps. ??

Great Doctor and staff no long waits all employees including the Doctor very personable and caring. I have been going there for 4 years now.

Totally professional and friendly Dr. Bosco saw me and performed a procedure expertly and quickly, just as I prefer. Staff were all terrific.

I was in pain from a kidney stone and was able to be seen very quickly. Dr. Bosco was wonderful. He explained everything and had a great bedside manor. He, himself, called me back with results of tests and was very helpful!

This happened to me too! This practice needs to learn to follow through on patient care instead of disappearing never to be heard from again. The medical staff seems okay, competent and qualified overall. However, patient relations really sucks to put it bluntly honestly!!

very poor customer service. lack of follow through. just totally dropped the ball on my care. never called back to follow up. lucky for me I found a different office to go to. one that actually shows empathy and concern for their patients. unlike this one which is very unprofessional. certainly would not refer this practice to patients expecting follow through. (review is about registration and scheduling not medical staff)

Doesnt seem to have compassion.Doesn't listen to patients,has a suck it up attitude.Doesn't believe patients pain.

As a health care provider passionate about providing my patients with high quality care and an outstanding patient experience, I like to think that I can recognize health care excellence when I see it and in my case when I experience it. When a stone recently blocked urinary passage and created an emergency, Dr Bosco took my call, listened to my problems and got me in immediately, upsetting an already busy schedule, and expertly took care of my problem so that it would not recur over the upcoming weekend, and scheduled me for a definitive outpatient procedure to permanently fix the problem. Before that appointment arrived however, the stone created another blockage/emergency and it was Dr Bosco to the rescue.Again he answered my call immediately, and fit me into another loaded schedule and worked late to permanently get rid of my problem. Not once did he hesitate or indicate in any way that it was an inconvenience or an imposition, and he treated me with genuine warmth and compassion. And his technical excellence is off the charts- even though he had to take an "external" approach through extremely sensitive tissues, two hours after the procedure I was pain free, totally comfortable and once again fully functional. Amazing!!! Anyone needing a urology procedure should call him immediately, and any health care provider interested in upping his game should meet him!

Dr. Bosco's bedside manner was just fine, but the worst issue was he very poor attention and eventual diagnosis. After pointing out a problem for two years, a growth that was continuing to increase significantly in size he kept pointing out that it was "just a fluid build up" and "nothing to worry about". Several times telling me that many other have similar issues and it's best to just try to live with this condition. After INSISTING that he help me find out what this really was he finally agreed to send me for tests. As it turned out he was extremely wrong, turned out to be a large Liposarcoma (23cm) tumor. If you don't know what that is it's a large soft tissue cancer. He doesn't listen to his patients issues and he should have helped me solve this issue much sooner. Would definitely not recommend him and have found another doctor.
