Dr. Lustgarten is not someone I will be returning to see. She was rude and short. When asked qts during my exam I was immediately cut off upon answering. The eye drops she placed in my eyes burned like something I have never felt before- when I asked if it was normal she said "oh ya, It might burn a little" The entire appt was an uncomfortable one- Be it that I am a nurse, I was disgusted at her lack of a bedside manner - oh and when my appt was finished that was when I was told the visit wasn't covered under my insurance! VERY POOR EXPERIENCE- trust the negative reviews- I wish I had.

Dr. Lustgarten and her team are wonderful! I highly recommend. Excellent communication, and a caring bedside manner as well.

As a longtime patient of this practice starting with Opticare 40 years ago, I am beyond appalled at the treatment I received. Dr.Lustgarten was condescending, rude, and treated me extremely poorly. She needs to brush up on her bedside manner to say the least. It saddens me that after 40 years of being a patient, first with Opticare and now with my eye doctor I will no longer be returning. Would never recommend to a friend or any colleagues.

I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional as I was by Dr. Lustgarten. She was condescending, rude, and abrupt throughout my appointment. She seemed bothered by my questions and offered no professional advice or recommendations. She has no business interacting with patients. I will not be returning.

One of the rudest Dr. I have ever gone to. I second-guessed myself thinking maybe I was making to much of a big deal about it. But my wife went into her office the next day to pay the bill and she was just as rude to her as she was to me. I will never go back.

Dr. Lustgarten was one of the rudest, most unprofessional healthcare providers I have ever seen. Condescending, short tempered and obnoxious, I don't understand how she has such excellent reviews. I arrived 15 minutes early for a check up, and found no one else there. . I provided my insurance information in advance, though she asked me for the card when I arrived. When I said I didn't have it but had included it in my initial paperwork, she scolded me, saying "well I can't believe you wouldn't carry your insurance card around with you. That doesn't seem like a very good idea." I tried to remain friendly and upbeat in our conversation, but she spoke to me like I was an inferior being the entire time. Dr. Lustgarten asked me questions throughout the exam and would cut me off before I had a chance to answer. If she managed to let me answer a question, there was always a rude quip that followed it. She made many comments that I assume were a response to the fact that I am a young looking woman of color, including multiple comments about a perceived inability on my part to pay for her services. I paid her in full, took my prescriptions and left. No one should ever visit her.

Dr Lustgarten is excellent. She is professional, thorough and very pleasant. My husband and I trust her.

Dr Lustgarten got me in quickly. I am new to the area and my experience with Dr. Lustgarten was good. Her exam was very complete. She was helpful in picking out glasses. I got my glasses back in a quickly order. She is a one women company.
