I got my physical therapy at ECHN and they charged me 3 times than other competitor therapist charge in the same area and also charged for services which were really not provided - for example, on my first visit they did only diagnosis and they charged me for both diagnosis and treatment. I brought it up to their Patient Experience Director and she did not do anything. Extremly unhappy with experience with ECHN Physical Therapy. My wife had same bad experience. Suggest you do your home work and get better care in the area with 1/3rd cost and without wrong charges.

Went to echn in south Windsor, I was told echn was in network, however the doctors I saw were out of network. Was charged $600 by one doctor, he put an ace bandage over a splint, looked at x-rays, and also charged for an office visit on top of the $600. I wish someone would have told me Dr were out of network.

In terms of medical care the hospital is quite good. However I have never seen a more incompetent accounts payable and receivable department in my life. The other reviews here about billing are accurate. Bills show up with wrong information, missing information, fictitious charges, etc. It has taken months of emailing, phone calls, to get resolved and the billing is still not accurate. At times they don't even tell you where to send payment to! Hopefully when YNHH takes over they can improve this.

You got white people talking about how bad this hospital is. That should tell you something. I've been begging for a shower for two days. Why should I even need permission to wash myself.

Over billing and sending collections notice even when Bill was paid on time and the next bill date is not due yet.

By far the worst hospital east of the river in CT. Will never go to Manchester Hospital or any ECHN affiliated facility for future medical care or concerns. As a medical professional, I will continue to entrust St. Francis Hospital/ Trinity Health and UCONN Health for all my care needs. Good luck reaching any administrators at ECHN Manchester Hospital to discuss a patient complaint or get any answers. Unacceptable. The staff are not only unprofessional but quite frankly they do not provide compassionate or patient-centered care. If you want excellent and safe care best to go to a level one hospital with qualified attending physicians and staff members.

Due to neglect on their part they have stolen HUNDREDS of dollars from me. They neglected to bill my insurance (bills they pay in full) and didn't tell me about it until a year later. Do not support dishonest corporate companies that don't care about doing the right thing.

Overcharge/Over billing from Manchester Memorial Hospital Youth Psychiatric Services. -Never ending billing. Billing ignored insurance deduction. $282.88 for each 15mins section with a Youth psychiatrist, with insurance, should be $101 out of pocket. Yet ECHN/Manchester Memorial Hospital/Prospect Manchester Hospital (Haynes St., Manchester, CT) keeps on sending bills. Recent bills sent for service 11 month ago, without insurance adjustment. - This is in addition to the black box hospital bills, also received bills related to "service" 1 year and 3month ago. These extra bills received around August 2021, are in addition to the dozens of bills paid in 2020 and earlier 2021. I keep on paying, they keep on sending more. Blood sucking practice. Don't let your youth be sent to Manchester Memorial Hospital for mental health. These kind of service is not helpful, the cost related and the billings and payments that already lasted 1.5 years for a stay is enough to severely harm people, if not enough to destroy them.

I've called three times to speak with someone to clarify my bill. Waited 20-30 mins each time. Finally clicks over as if Im getting someone and then a hang up. EVERY TIME. Beyond frustrating....guess they don't want me to pay off my bill.

Lead nurse was very impatient rude and abrupt in the phone. Didn’t check on me for over 7 hours during my Covid pneumonia stay at this particular hospital. I want to say her name was Lori. 12th Fl
