Dr. Petashnik performed both cataract surgeries nine years apart. The second surgery used the new “Mono Vision” arrangement of lenses which worked out perfectly.

In addition to annual eye examinations with this physician, both of my eyes needed cataract surgery. Dr. Petashnick did a fantastic job with the surgery including full explanations ahead of time and caring follow-up. Highly recommend.

I trust Dr. Petashnick he is so up to date with eye care knowledge. He is very professional. He did my cataract and corrective lens surgery and did an awesome job. So grateful. Dr. Petashnick deserves my 5 Star Rating! his skill, professionalism, cleanliness, is out standing. I owe him a great gratitude for treating my painful corneal erosion on Christmas night. I have never had such an experience from a medical professional ever - he saw me 20 minutes after my late night call for help. I cannot find the words to thank him for his service that evening. Though he was not my regular Ophthalmologist, you can be sure I will make efforts to find care from Dr. Dan again! Highly recommended!

His bedside manner is the best I have ever experienced from any Doctor! I was impressed that he called the night of my cataract surgery to see how I was doing. I was not impressed by his surgical coordinator who was rude to me on two occasions, but Dr. Petashnick was informative and respectful at all times, and ready to answer any questions one may have!

I have been a patient for 17 years. Although I've been treated by the other doctors in the practice, who are great, my doctor is Daniel Petashnick. I developed glaucoma and cataracts at 40, which is statistically young. I trust the doctor and his assistant, who is a top-notch professional. I am very grateful that Dr. Petashnick performed my cataract surgery. When I was wheeled into the OR at Manchester Memorial Hospital, the nurses spoke glowingly of his surgical prowess. Another trait I appreciate is that Dr. Petashnick is a true gentleman, which is hard to find nowadays. I highly recommend Dr. Petashnick and his entire group.
