From the moment you step into the office you feel welcomed. The environment is clean and peaceful. Frontline staff was friendly, respectful and efficient. The clinical staff was competent, friendly and compassionate. Dr. Welling was friendly, timely, respectful and actively listened to me. I feel lucky to have found a wonderful practice for my needs.

This doctor really needs to relearn patient rights and basic empathy. He was more concerned of coercing me into unnecessary drug testing with threats of “invasive testing” on my newborn baby than addressing problems that I was currently experiencing and suffering through. Women in the state of CT are not required to subject to drug testing during pregnancy and should not be lied to in order to try and scare them into it. I have 2 perfectly healthy boys at home and have yet to drug test for either. I have no history of drug use or addiction yet they want to bill insurance for unnecessary testing or make threats of a CPS referral at the birth... Unbelievable and shameful to think they are doing this to other women and committing insurance fraud on a daily basis. Why wasn’t I “required” to drug test with the baby I just had with this practice 9 months ago? Because clearly shouldn’t be in a practice treating women in their most vulnerable time. I have evidence of the entire conversation and will not stand for a doctor with a god complex against women and willing to destroy families especially not in the current political climate.

I've been going to Dt. Welling at least 30+ years. He is patient, compasdionate and thorough. Always available and happy to answer any questions.
