Eyone Jones Md's Online Review Report Card

I don’t normally write reviews, good or bad, but Dr. Jones deserved one. I had a hiatal hernia repair in September, completed by another surgeon. I have had nothing but issues since. I have thrown up every meal and on my bad days even liquids for the past five months. I have had no quality of life. I have been in an out of the ER and was finally given the number to Dr. Jones for a j-tube placement for meal supplements. This was supposed to be temporary until I had a long awaited appointment with the specialists at Yale. Well, Dr. Jones refused. But, he explained why, not only did he explain why, but he spent almost an hour explaining to me what was going on inside me, drawing diagrams and being patient while I probably asked ridiculous questions. He agreed thatI could not wait another two months for my appointment with Yale and said he would call them to see what he could do in terms of moving up my appointment. I left his office crying, not out of frustration, instead, feeling HOPEFUL, something I have not felt in the past five months. Dr. Jones called me that evening to let me know he didn’t forget about me and that he was waiting for a call back from the specialists. Two days later, I got a call from him saying they reached out to him and they discussed my case at length and were both in agreement that I needed a sooner appointment. Twenty minutes later, my appointment was moved up, almost an entire month. A MONTH, it doesn’t seem like a long time, but it is an eternity when you are living every day in agony and just feeling outright hopeless. I can’t thank Dr. Jones enough for being an advocate for me, after one appointment. Not only did he refuse to do a surgery that was unnecessary, but he potentially saved me, because the surgery my initial surgeon wanted done would have eliminated a hopeful surgery I could have in the future to be able to move on with my life. So yes, yes I would recommend Dr. Jones.

My mother had a wound that would not completely heal for over 3 years. He was wonderful! He was great at explaining the process, offered suggestions, and listened to our concerns. The surgery went great and he solved the issue! Hannah Chalmers is very caring and was great at following up with her. Olivia in the front office is the sweetest and everybody is so easy to talk to. Can't say enough great things about them!

Dr. Jones performed emergency abdominal surgery on me when I was away from home at Christmas. So it was the luck of the draw who had my case. I am alive and well for one reason only - because of this surgeon and his PA, Hannah Chalmers. Brilliant deductive reasoning to determine where I was bleeding, outstanding bedside manner, and technical surgical talent are the traits that stand out in retrospect. And just demonstrating such care. Listening to me, remembering everything I said. Calling my husband and keeping him in the loop. I can never adequately express how lucky I was to have them. And would unconditionally recommend them both.

I was referred to Dr. Jones from the ER after having multiple gallbladder attacks. He and Hannah both were so compassionate and really listened to me. They took extra time to answer my many questions. They even added my surgery to an already full schedule so I wouldn’t have to live with pain for an extra week. Dr. Jones was equally caring in the OR and comforted me when I was feeling anxious. He was precise and confident using a robotic laparoscopy. Even post op I feel cared for during my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Jones and his team.

Dr. Jones did my surgery. Professional and caring. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Jones and his staff (especially Hannah) are the most professional medical personnel I have ever encountered. Explained the procedure in detail every step of the way. Their bedside manner is superb. I recommend them highly!
