List of Marjorie Garrett Md's Reviews
Dr. Garrett is consistently professional, thorough, kind, a good listener, makes you feel as if you're her only patient. I've been going to her 20+ years. My mother went to her as well and she treated her like it was HER mother. She actually called on Thanksgiving to see how she was doing. She's a treasure that we were lucky to find.
She is very caring, knowledgeable
I have been seeing Dr. Marjorie Garrett for years and could not be more pleased with all of my visits with her. She is my GP and is a great listener, often provides multiple choices for treatment with the pros and cons of each so it feels like a true partnership between both of us. Dr. Garrett is very gentle and never makes you feel rushed. Her office staff is also wonderful, cheery and efficient. Thanks everyone!
Although I liked Dr. Garrett's bedside manner during my appointment, her follow up was poor. She sent me for a second blood test to discover why I was so anemic but the phlebotomist couldn't read the order form and tried to reach the office for over an hour with no success. She told me Dr. Garrett's office "is the worst - that they can never get through". After my test results came in, I was not allowed to speak with the doctor about them, but was merely informed by a staff member that I was anemic (which the first test showed). The staff was rude and I never received a call back from the doctor. I recently tried to schedule an appointment and was told that since I hadn't been in 3 years, I was considered a new patient and they weren't accepting new patients per "office policy". They also charge for cancelled appointments. Don't waste your time - find a doctor who cares about her patients more than her stupid policies.
Dr. Garrett is friendly, yet professional. She listens to concerns and provides appropriate advice. It is evident that she stays current with information that helps patients be proactive and be active participants in keeping healthy.
My appointment was later in the day but there was a blizzard moving in so she opened up an earlier time so I could complete my appointment! Excellent service!
Showed up for my mother's appointment on time and we were told we had to reschedule because we were not there a half an hour early to fill out paperwork. I was not made aware before hand that if we weren't there a HALF HOUR BEFORE my mother's appointment we would have to reschedule. The office staff was very rude and refused to let us fill out the paperwork while waiting for the doctor. Dr. Garrett herself said we had to reschedule because she was running behind. Unbelievable!
Really takes the time to listen which is very important to me.
I love Dr. Garrett. She takes care of me, my mom & sister. She's very approachable and takes the time to talk to you and explain everything. I highly recommend her!
Staff is very snobby, particularly her medical assistant, who seems annoyed that she has to treat you (EKG, etc.). Told staff that I might have pneumonia. Staff said the doctor is "trying to get out of here early" (!!) so I should go to a clinic. Seriously. Never again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
