List of James A. Ouellette's Reviews
My hubby got a generic text from ProHealth stating his appt was cancelled. He knew he had one coming up with Dr. O. His office sent a bill because my husband didn't show up. We called the office to explain that we didn't forget but rather got a cancellation text. They said we do not send text messages. We explained our side but they/he still wanted money. In general, Dr Ouelette is a good doctor with a nice bedside manner.
Flippant; no personal contact or attention to the patient's background. I am a nurse and can understand my own lab work. Don't need a smiley face to tell me that it is okay!
I have been going to Dr Oullette for over twenty years and think he is a great doctor. One negative review mentioned checking the Internet during the visit. I think that is a positive. He as been willing to engage and discuss questions. In fact one year I had so many questions that he had to schedule a second visit to finish my exam. He did not even charge extra. I highly recommend Dr. Oullette. Unfortunately he is not accepting new patients.
Dr. Ouellette is a great diagnostician and well versed on the latest treatments. One of the best doctors in the central Connecticut area.
Rude doctor. Go elsewhere.
Not a very friendly doctor.
Have had annual appointments with Dr. Ouellette for 19 years. He has literally saved and enhanced my life.
I'd give a zero if I could. Was googling stuff right in front of me. I can do that. That's not why I paid to see you. Additionally. You told me I had something I absolutely didn't have. When I called to follow up your nurse called me back and said that you already diagnosed me. Yeah. Incorrectly. Hence why I'm calling. Worst doctor I've ever seen.
He always listens and asks questions. Spends more than the allotted appointment time when necessary. Caring doctor.
Been in his care for the past 14 years. This person has seriously lengthened my life with his diagnoses and recommendations. A prince among physicians!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
