By far the best family doctor I've ever had hands down

I saw dr Tuttle on a Tuesday in early July after I hurt my shoulders. It was obvious that he was reluctant to order it. Dr Tuttle stated that he was going to order it. I waited. I made numerous phone calls In the following days to radiology to check for my date for the MRI that was supposed to have been ordered by dr Tuttle. It was never ordered, per radiology, I called back to the doctor and I was told that it needed approval from Anthem. I called Anthem on Friday to found out what the delay was. One of the reps from Anthem told me that they haven’t receive any request from dr Tuttle. I called, again, to dr Tuttle’ office. Again with the same story that they had sent it. I knew they were not telling the truth. I called Anthem and the rep told me that she just received the request. I had my MRI done a few days later. I had complete tear of my subscapularis, Supraspinatus and bicep tendon. I had surgery on July 11. I will no longer be part of marlborough family practice.

I am extremely upset with this practice. We were Dr Tuttle's patients for our entire time in CT--40 years. My son was also a patient for years. When he had a volleyball accident, they told him that he had not seen the doctor for 3 years so they dropped him and they weren't taking new patients. Why would you go to a doctor if you were healthy and not having any medical problems. I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy!!!

This review should count as 2 reviews because it includes both my husband and I. Dr. Tuttle has been our Primary Care Physician for many years (over 20 years). He is smart, listens and quickly diagnoses correctly. He explains things in terms we can quickly and easily understand. In addition he smiles and is good natured. He has gone out of his way to reach for additional information when needed. Everyone likes him and we will continue going to him.

He has been our pc for 37 yrs. Cared for us and our children with compassion, humor, he has treated,us with humor and expertise. We can't say enough good things abouqt this doctor. He has met our needs since we were in our early thirties until now when we are in our 70's.
