I called today September 9, 2022 at about 4:45 pm to inquire about my referral. From the beginning the person at the other side of the line was not polite enough to ask the right questions about the reason why I was calling. It seems like she was automatized and had the script memorized so her answers were coming out automatically from her. She told me that referrals take from 8 to 12 weeks to process, without asking me first when my primary doctor sent the referral. When I told her that I have received a call from this office she told me that the office never called the first day of the referral without asking me first when I received the call which by the way was in August this year. After all this she even told me that I had an attitude just because I simply asked her to ask the right questions and when she finished talking I told her that it was my time to talk and she simply hang up the phone not only one, two but three times because she recognized my number so my wife called from her number and the same person answered the phone and when I mentioned to her and ask why she hang up on me, she did it again. I understand that working under pressure and maybe long hours might be sometimes harc for our well being but if we choose to work on customer service and overall the medical field we need to understand that patiens are calling because they have a medical condition, they are worried or concerned and not to shop around. Behaviors like this in a medical environment does not help at all to anyone, needles to say the patient or the doctor's office because the employees are a reflection of his practice. If I am calling to find out about my referral is because I have had a good review and reccomendation and trust on this practice, the doctor and his team who ultimately are the face we see when we go into the office and who we talk often. I hope this feedback might help correct this behavior and understand that you are in contact with patients, people with conditions and help you be more empathetic and not simply hang up the phone because you believe it is the solution to the issues. We drove over three hours each way to see Dr. King for our daughter’s autoimmune condition. Incredibly smart, wonderful bedside manner, and so gifted in his field. Worth the trip!!!

A truly gifted physician, researcher, academic and above all human being. Within short months of becoming a patient, Dr. King's treatment regimen of aggressive photo therapy and topical medication resolved decades long psoriasis eruptions on 40% of my body to +/-1.5% of my body. Once injected biologic treatments for psoriasis had proven themselves safe he identified and administered one that minimized the need for photo therapy and topical medication while further decreasing the the presence on psoriasis on my body to +/-0.005%.

Truly gifted clinician, researcher, Med School Prof, Med student & resident mentor and dermatological care provider. Dr. King has been my Dermatologist for 6 years after +25 years of The Heartbreak of Psoriasis @40% of my body with no prior success in getting treated for same by other providers. With a treatment regimen of photo therapy & topical medication Dr. King's ministrations took the Psoriasis covering 40% of my body to +/-1.5% and kept it in check for 5 years in which I got my life back. When photo therapy and topical meds became increasingly ineffective he prescribe an injectable biologic that within short single digit months got my psoriasis down to occasional pencil eraser-sized spots that resolved themselves within a very few days. When asked why he waited to prescribe an injectable biologic psoriasis med Dr. King indicated such earlier meds had side effects he wasn't comfortable with. That statement alone said all that needed to be said about Dr. King as a Physician.

Dr King is the most caring and compassionate Dr that I have ever encountered and I have been to hundreds of derms...He really connects on a very personal level...I always leave there feeling very cared for!!!

What a find! Dr. K LISTENED carefully to my problem and thought hard and patiently to find the best way to help me. He is knowledgeable AND caring. An EXCELLENT doctor worth driving almost two hours to see!

I visited him with a substantial out of pocket payment. I have suffered with alopecia for over 10 years and a cure would do more than delight me it would give me my life back. Dr. King talked about the break through medication and pending trial for the medication but in the 2 years since he has denied to even dignify my emails and plea for help with a response.

Dr. King has been instrumental in getting to the root cause of my daughter's dermatology issue. After years of seeing pediatricians and other dermatologists, it was Dr. King who successfully treated my daughter and gave us hope again. We've seen life-altering changes in her condition. We would HIGHLY recommend Dr. King and in fact, have already done so. Office and medical staff have been OUTSTANDING as well (kind, compassionate). SO grateful to have stepped into this office!
