I have had a total hip replacement and had numerous dislocations afterwards. I saw Doctor Wasterlain for a 2nd opinion. After reviewing new x-rays she saw what was needed to stop the dislocating. It was the first positive response to my issue and I saw a ray of hope. It was obvious she cared about her patients fist and foremost. I love her for her honesty, her open caring personality and that I was being heard. I'd recommend her to anyone I love.

Amazing — I’ve had cortisone shots in several joints in the past. Most have lidocaine/marcaine to instantly numb the experience for the first few hours. Typically, the joint then is sore or very sore for a couple days before the relief from the steriod is complete. But my first injection with Dr Wasterlain was administered without pain. Of ANY variety. My knee did not hurt at ALL for those typical “down days” after, either — meaning she introduced no additional trauma whatsoever, to injection area or generally. And my knee is now fully functioning again. I can kneel, play tennis, rock climb and hike steep inclines and declines.

On June 9, 2022, I had total right hip replacement, anterior approach. Dr. Wasterlain, was amazing. On my first visit I had a list of questions. To my delight I did not ask one, because she answered them all. I would recommend Dr. Amy Wasterlain to my family and friends for surgery. I am approaching week four of recovery to my delight I am moving around, walking without a wobble, able to do the exercises, and feeling great about the decision to go with Dr. Amy Wasterlain. Please note I did have my left hip done posterior about 6 years ago and would recommend Dr. Amy Wasterlain's anterior approach over the posterior approach without hesitation. Was the best thing i ever did..Had 2 hips replaced and had almost no pain at all. Was walking with a cane in 26 hours and no cane in 5 days.. AMAZING

I had total knee replacement surgery on 10/7/21 and I’m still in pain, knee is swollen, very difficult to walk despite going to the gym 2-3 nights a week. I’m thinking something is just not right here. 6 months in and I should be fully recovered.
