List of Ayman M. Latif's Reviews
Saved my foot from amputation. One of the best! Thanks Dr. Latif!!!
Went to see Dr. Latif with a foot neuroma. He did a rushed and insufficient examination of my foot issue. He didn't ask many questions, and he quickly offered a shoe insert as the solution. He also gave me a steroid injection in my foot (telling me the only risk was no effect), which actually made my condition much worse the next morning with significantly more pain. When I called him to relate the ...
I had Osteomyelitis and ended up in the ER at Middlesex health. Dr Latif was the surgeon that performed my partial toe amputation. He has been a great doctor, listening to my wife and I's questions and takeing the time to fully answer. The toe is fully healed and continue to see him for my standard diabetic footcare.
Thanks Dr. Ayman, you are the best.
Very nice (as was all of the staff), but seemed to dismiss half of the issue I described to him that did not match up with his diagnosis and performed a steroid injection on me that actually worsened the issue in my foot. I trusted that a steroid injection would be appropriate for the symptoms that I described to him, but in retrospect I feel it was performed unnecessarily. I did not previously have pain or weakness associated with my issue and now I do, immediately following the injection, which has persisted for over a month. I was left questioning his recommendations and moved on to another doctor.
Dr Ayman is one of the best Doctors, he treated my daughter very well. Thanks Dr Ayman.
I had a foot infection and Dr. Latif was recommended to me. I went to see him on 2/14 afternoon, he cleaned the infection, told me 'that I had a soft corn, to use bacterial creme, said the inflammation should go down and scheduled me to see him again on 4/3/2020. Three days later, the infection was worse, my foot was red and swollen up to my ankle. As I was in Manhattan working, I saw a different podiatrist as it was very painful and I could not wear a proper shoe. The doctor said had I waited 48 more hours, I could have been in surgery. He said, if left alone a few more days, the infection could have travel to my heart or other organs and caused a fatal condition. He lanced the wounded, drained the infection, treated it, wrapped the wound and put me on 875 Mg of antibiotics 2X daily and told me to soak it in epsom salts 2X daily. It took 3 days for the infection to subside and a week for the infection to clear. In my mind, Dr. Latif did not do his job and put me in grave danger. Sorry, but I cannot recommend Dr. Latif. Go elsewhere if you have a serious infection.
Dr. Latif saw me on short notice after I sustained a break in the 5th metatarsal. He examined the urgent care X-rays and advised me on the extent of the injury and gave a clear explanation of what I could expect. We are new to the area and do not know many health Cate professionals yet. Dr. Latif is patient, kind, cheerful and reassuring. Will continue to see him for all follow- up visits. Excellent office staff as well!
Dr. Latif is professional as well as performs teaching in a kind, calm manner. He is never rushed and gives his patients the needed time they deserve to make the appropriate choices about their treatment. I have had 2 foot surgeries with him. Staff is also wonderful.
I was have several foot issues. Planter fasciitis and an Achilles issues and Dr. Latif was so nice and helpful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
