List of Brian Mcguire's Reviews
I really tried to avoid leaving a review but I figure maybe someone else shared a similar awful experience under this physician's care. When he came to ask me routine questions I smelled a stench of alcohol under his breath, his speech was pressured, posture unsteady, and he was visibly impaired. As he continued with his questioning I realized that his questions became random and unrelated to my health status, so I let him know that I felt uncomfortable with his behavior and line of questioning and I preferred to end this exam. I was out of there asap. The next day I notified the corporate compliance representative at Middlesex hospital and she reassured me that he is a good worker and that maybe I was "overreacting". I was so surprised at how she dismissed my entire ordeal. I guess Middlesex hospital feels that it's okay for their healthcare providers to be under the influence of alcohol/substances while caring for their patients. Well, I will definitely be going elsewhere and spreading my encounter to anyone that wants to hear.
Dr. McGuire is an enormous asset to the Middlesex team. He is ridiculously personable, very communicative, and puts one at ease immediately. I cannot recommend him highly enough, frankly. He's everything you want a doctor to be and more.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
