I have had spinal issues for the past 30+ years which had now reached a point that truly impacted my life. Dr Sohn was spot on with the diagnosis and treatment. I too tried injections that did not work but I took the advice of Dr Sohn and finally opted for surgery. I cannot express the relief I had immediately and still now after two months post-op. Dr Sohn's explanation and what to expect was exactly what I experienced. I cannot imagine anyone locating a better surgeon both bedside and in surgery. I would and have recommended him to friend's and Family. He has given me my life back. Thank you Dr Sohn ! Front desk and back desk staff experience good. First saw PA who gave one diagnosis. The Dr. Sohn came in and gave another. Dr. S. seemed very irritated by our questions and ended up walking out of the room leaving us sitting there, he came back after 5 mins to ask if we needed something else. No specific treatment plan except - "spine injection" and "stretches" which "may or may not work". Very confusing and had to go to another Dr. for second opinion with all the films who read everything to us - took the time to explain and gave us a treatment plan. I 100% understand that he is a surgeon, and no surgery was needed in this situation - but the attitude was awful. We left very very upset. Front desk and back desk staff experience good. Have had two cervical fusions with Dr. Sohn and would highly recommend him! He is very thorough and has great bedside manner. Without a doubt, one of the best doctors I have ever had!

We are thankful for the professional care Dr. Sohn and his team provided throughout the process of assessing my stenosis problems, providing remedial treatment, reconstructive back surgery, and post-surgery care. Two months after surgery I no longer have leg and back pain, I have new-found flexibility, and I function as I did more than 25 years ago. I have met a few Drs but i have to say that i am very impressed with Dr Sohn. He is a very caring Dr and always wants to do the best for his patients. I would highly recommend him too anyone that needs spinal surgery.

I was seeing Dr. Sohn for just about 2 years. I have spinal stenosis, 3 bulging discs, slight scoliosis,And my spine is narrowing… All he did for me Was give me seven injections that didn’t work, and then told me there was nothing else he could do for me I need to live with the pain… His assistant referred me to another doctor at you Yale And he wanted to do surgery but I was not comfortable with that… So I had a referral to go back to Dr. Sohn because I was Already his patient, and he refuses to see me because they already sent me to Yale and told me I need to go back there… Dr. Sohn came Highly recommended to me by another family member and I have no clue why… He did absolutely nothing for me and now as his patient refusing to see me again I was seeing Dr. Sohn for just about 2 years. I have to give at least 1 star to be able to give a review. In my honest opinion I give Dr. Sohn 0 stars. The absolute worst Dr. I have ever had to see. I would not even recommend him to walk someone's dog

Excellent,start to finish & the same with Middlesex Hsp.If you have to wait a few minutes,He is taking extra time with the person before you and will do the same for you if necessary.

My dad had back surgery with Dr. Sohn and he screwed it up. My dad then had to go for a second back surgery to correct it and now he has permanent foot pain, which he never had before the surgery. To make matters worse, Dr. Sohn wouldn't see my dad when he called about the resulting foot pain, he just kept having his assistant talk to my dad.

Beware of the billing department. Tried unsuccessfully for 4 days with many calls to ask question. Never returned call
