Excellent MD; takes the time to listen to the patient. Holistic approach
Dr. Good has been my primary care physician for over 30 years. I have full confidence in him
My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Good’s for more years than I can remember. We would recommend him highly. Besides a calm demeanor which I appreciate, Dr. Good gained our trust through proper managed care and his diagnostic expertise. I dread the day he decides to retire.
I have been a patient of Dr. Good for thirty eight years, and I'm 78 years old. I've found him to be excellent under many circumstances and conditions.Under his tutelage, I've enjoyed twenty three years of retirement. He has gotten me to stop smoking, lowered my blood pressure . I've no complaints, just compliments. In view of restrictions imposed by Insurance groups and masses of patients overloading the system, it's a wonder anything is getting done.We should take a lesson from Japanese methodology to bring sanity back to our national healthcare system. Massive greed by Big Pharma and Insurance corrodes it's effectiveness and results in early burn-out of critical support personnel. A closed practice is a good start towards reparations to that end, for both Patients and Staff. Work at the National level is needed.
Dr. Good is the reason I have my daughter Brittany. His compassion and deep concern are just a few of the reasons I have been a patient of his for 31 years. When another gyno in the area thought we should consider abortion based on Lyme in pregnant women, Dr. Good said if I was his wife he would tell me to go through with the pregnancy. A healthy happy baby was born!! He will always be a Dr. hero to me!!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Good for over 25 years. He is an "old-fashioned" family doctor who gives me the time needed to hear my concerns, thoroughly check my symptoms and answer all of my questions. He willingly and fully explains his diagnosis and treatments and when asked, will provide pros and cons of his recommendation as well as potential side effects. He treats "the whole" person, not just the current problem. Some may find him a bit "quirky" but I see that as a positive attribute.
Fabulous family physician. A patient for over 30 years. Very easy to talk to about your health as your health care needs change as you age. Also outstanding in discussing other challenges to your children as they grow. He was ahead of the curve in bicycle and new driver safety.
Too many poor experiences with this doctor. I’ve seen him for many years but he lacks empathy and understanding required to treat a patient like me.Upon expression of dissatisfaction with his work, he tells patients including myself that it is a closed practice and that we are unable to see his other medical professionals within the practice.I am currently working with my attorney on a complaint with the state of Connecticut as well as to present facts as to potential medical malpractice. After losing my father and being treated poorly by Dr. Good time and time again and hearing similar stories all around town, it’s safe to say that he is worthy of investigation which I am actively perusing within my rights.I have also placed a call to my insurance company to seek a new provider.Be careful with your primary care physicians, folks.Lifelong Middletown Resident,Joe
Doctor has been very irresponsible with perscriptions, diagnosis, referrals, office communication, and drug regimen. I would not recommend Dr. Good to any one that I care about.
Covered all the basis and formulated an action plan to improve my health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
