My father had a cataract operation; because of the density of the cataract it had to be removed manually. It was initially put in backward so the incision had to be made bigger to rectify it which this doctor denied until my father said he head everything during the procedure. The promised improvement in vision was a false claim and later denied. Minimal post op and not even an eye patch . Now over a year later my dad found a great doctor for his other eye, attentive post-op and next week he is removing a stitch Dr. Beggins failed to remove from the operation he performed. He was arrogant and unpleasant to deal with . No one would ever claim my father was anything but pleasant and indeed docile.

Very thorough and detailed with every eye test to discern the correct diagnosis. The staff is helpful getting in quickly.

Dr Beggins and the office staff couldn't be nicer! They are kind, caring, thorough and listen. I never feel rushed out of the office and have never had difficulty getting an appointment when needed. Had an issue over the Christmas holiday and received a phone call back within 15 minutes of my call to the answering service. A prescription was called in and picked up within an hour of leaving my message. Thank you for being so responsive!

Doctor Beggins is friendly, mitigates any anxiety and professional. He was totally accurate as to the expectations after surgery. It was a very comfortable procedure.

I am so sorry one person had a poor experience at the front desk. How unfortunate! My wife and I have been to the office many times. I have found the front desk staff to be convivial and courteous, efficient and helpful. I have also observed their interactions with the other patients who are in the office waiting for their specific services. I heard good comments from people leaving the closed door part of the office after their appointment and in their conversation with the front desk staff. I am very happy to say I concur with their impressions and I am appreciative of the high quality technical care and high quality personal touch. I am a physician and I want everyone to know I am very forthright about providing feedback on processes involved in providing health care. It takes a lot of effort to come in and access care regularly and is expensive and i believe everyone bar nothing is entitled to compassionate, courteous, effective, safe adequate and appropriate care provided in a timely manner. I request anyone who was disappointed by the level of interaction to call and set up a private appointment with the Office Manager and talk it out - May be there opportunities for improvement that I have missed so that discussion could improve care for all of us. I thank everyone who put in their two cents to raise the bar and every time we have the opportunity to do so. This is a win -win for Dr Beggins and his staff and all the rest of use who they seek to serve in the best way possible. Velandy Manohar

The tech does the refraction not the doctor. They charged me for seeing a specialist and then charged me again for a routine eye exam and another charge for a refraction (which is the prescription). When I tried to dispute the charges they said this is what it is and I can go elsewhere if I didn’t like it. Needless to say I’m not happy with them and I will not be going back. Like the receptionist said “...it is your choice to go elsewhere if you’re not happy “.

Dr Begins was attentive, professional and thorough

I could not see the eye chart properly because the bulb in the equipment needed replacement. Instead of black letters on white background, I was seeing black letters on medium grey background. Dr. Beggins and his assistant would not listen to what I was saying but continued to insist I pick the best choice. The prescription I received was not even close.

Love Dr.Salerno he is amazing! And the new office desk lady with the curly hair ( wish i remembered her name) is very efficient and pleasant.
