As mad as I was at Dr. Lieponis, because of the pain and delays of getting to an epidural injection for sever stenosis AND with the changes to opiod law, he did not prescribe. I had to get a few days relief by my Primary Care in Boston. I did hear he is a good surgeon, but I cant do that. After 1 injection, I am back to where I started.

My experience with Dr Lieponis has been like no other.From the moment I first met him he let me know that his main concern was me and nothing else.He made sure that I was taken care of from physical therapy down to managing my pain.I ultimately had a spinal infusion and had some non related complications after surgery.It was the concern and the insistence of Dr Lieponis calling the hospital that they discovered a pulmonary embolism.If it wasn’t for him I could’ve died and for that I’m grateful!

His assistant Betsy is very helpful and is informative. She is always a pleasure to deal with. She goes above and beyond. Dr. Lieponis needs to improve upon his listening skills but overall is a good doctor.

Receptionist is very rude and gossipy. She spends most of her day talking poorly about patients and makes rude faces while she is on the telephone. The Dr on the other hand was very professional and kind.
