List of Yale New Haven Health Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus Advanced Wound Care Center's Reviews
Our small town hospital has changed. I miss the friendliness. I was very disappointed this week when I was admitted. Most of the people were just there for a pay check not to help people feel better. I must say the Wound Center is awesome The staff want to be there and genuinely care. The surgery PA John was great very intelligent caring and humble. I grew up with Milford hospital and now that Yale took over it is not a warm friendly hospital. Some people still care about the patients while most do not.
I needed to visit the ER last night for an issue. The entire staff working the overnight shift was nothing short of amazing. They showed genuine compassion and care. The ER was busy However I was able to go in within a matter of minutes of arriving. The care provided was excellent as well as their efficiency. Thank you to everyone involved the greeters admissions doctor and most importantly the two nurses helping me.
I recently had a total knee replacement done at Bridgeport Hospital in Milford. I am a 40 year resident of Milford and I can honestly say this is no longer the old Milford Hospital. I mean that in a good way The hospital is brighter and cleaner than ever before. Presurgery care and instructions were well organized and explained thoroughly. OR and postoperative staff were kind and competent. The new Orthopedic unit is excellent. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. The nursing staff was caring respectful and responded quickly to call bells. All of my questions were answered and physical therapy had me up and walking shortly after surgery. Private rooms for all ortho patients was definitely a big plus The food was great and dietary staff were helpful and pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to family and friends. Great transition to a much better hospital.
I had a REALLY bad experience with This hospital my son has severe allergic reaction to Eggs he gets anaphylaxis.. he ate ice cream that contains eggs and started having a severe allergic reaction so I gave him benadryl took him to the hospital when the symptoms started. We were in the waiting area to get him a room for about 40 mins and my son started vomiting and they didn’t care. After getting mad at the they gave us a room and we waited over 2 hrs and no one even took the time to go see my son. We literally walked out of the hospital and took my son to Yale Childrens hospital where they gave him a room right away and treated his VERY SEVERE ALLERGY. Milford hospital would of let him die first
Very good staff in the ER took really good care of me when I was sick.
Horrible hospital I will never return here. The nurse was too busy texting on her phone than to check on me as a patient and sent a tech in to disconnect and reconnect my IV.
I had to bring a friend in who had just fallen. The hospital is very efficient no wait time in ER they brought wheelchair out to car for patient timely tests were taken staff is courteous explain procedures kept us informed. Excellent care.
My grandparents had been happily married over 60yrs but my grandfathers health had been on the decline over the past year and he passed yesterday evening in the care of this hospital. My grandmother naturally is absolutely beside herself right now as these things are never easy but the callous and unsympathetic care in his final days by a a particular doctor took this sorrow to new heights. After one doctor confirmed with my grandfather that he didnt want a DNR last week another doctor reapproached the topic a day later. After my grandfather and grandmother both confirmed that his wishes were not to have a DNR this doctor continued to pressure them as well as multiple family members over the course of the next several days. She even went so far as to try to explain to my grandmother how to get around not having a DNR should she wish to. This was said in front of my grandfather who was awake and lucid as if he wasnt there listening. They were so distraught by this that my grandfather refused to speak to anyone the rest of the day. He passed barely 3 hours after my grandmother left his side that day. This is not a hospital I would recommend for end of life care.
This is Richard Symons. I had a pain in my lower side so I went into the Milford Hospital emr. Every one there is so friendly and the service is great The staff is always ready to help you when you need it My doctor who I saw Doctor Erik Baish was superior and very friendly Had a very pleasant experience on November 16 2020 I highly recommend

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
