I saw Dr. DeJesus after a work related injury. He was thorough with his exam and plan of care. Pleased with his professionalism, willingness to listen to me and to respond to questions.

After complaining of severe abdominal pain and stating that I think its the meds and need to change, he refused. After an Ultrasound was performed I went the emergency room twice and was never told that I had an enlarged prostate and to stop taking one of my meds. I ended up self referring to Smillow Cancer and have been told from all the tests and results that Dr De Jesus had knowledge of was alarming and very concerning. Prior to this a growth on my thyroid was found and legions in my brain. Nothing was ever done.

I have seen Dr. DeJesus four times so far. He has spent the time needed in order for us both to be on the same page before I left my last visit. This was especially important because he needed to refer me out to several specialists. I was nervous. Not sure what the specialists should know before I went for the consultations. He was patient. I was self diagnosing. (bad habit) By the time I left I felt better than ever about him being my Primary. Dr. DeJesus is a Primary who will remember you from your last visit, look you in the eye and be empathetic to your situation, medical and home. He has also shown his sincerity and integrity in gently holding his ground when trying to steer me another way when I'm going in the wrong direction. I appreciate that, patients need options. Not Drs who yes, yes times up! He is definitely not that. The practice has a staffing issue though. Dr. DeJesus is my 4th primary in 4 years. I hope he stays for many years!
