This place so grimy, Healthcare workers are the disease, this place tried telling me a homeless guy, walked in without shoes without my gor-tex waterproof camo vans hi-tops 150$ shoes. Every worker their said I came in barefoot hahahahhahahahahshahah straight scumbags only giving it 1star because 0 or negative is not an option.
Please beware of this hospital. A friend was held without his consent, not fed, not medicated, left with no underwear for 3 days. 🤬He finally left and was told he looked great by the MD when he left. The MD subsequently told his PCP that he was just okay & they told his PCP he had an unknown brain disease in his records. Encentholophy. He was then taken off crucial maintenance meds he had been on for for over 15 years with no slow dosage decreases. As a result, he was unable to sleep & stressed so badly, he suffered a serious broken shoulder just from the stress. He did not fall and had no impact with his shoulder. He then switched hospitals & surgeons to Bristol Hospital & has been treated well by his new physicians. He was finally treated with the respect he deserved.Unfortunately, due to continued stress from lack of sleep and anxiety meds his shoulder is still not healed properly after 6 months & he has to have additional surgery. .Again. I seriously suggest avoiding New Britain General Hosputal. For your health & the safety of you and your loved ones.
Excelente Hospital 🏥
As hard as it is to write this letter, I want to give my feedback on the what I thought of the care my Grandma and Family received. From the head nurse in the ICU unit not having an ounce of compassion for my Family who was losing a loved one who was a Grandmother, Mother, Aunt, and Cousin. To the lack of professionalism security had when kicking everyone out of the waiting room in a rude and disrespectful manner and escalating attitudes as if anyone was not being compliant. As I do not like to pull the race card there was some unfairness when it came to the respect we received compared to how others were treated. There were other families coming in and out of the waiting room and there were no rules being enforced at the time but it seemed like when my family arrived all of these rules were being enforced. We were there to say our last goodbyes to our family members and it was not a pleasant experience. Instead of us being able to grieve properly and say our goodbyes in a pleasant manner we had to fight to say goodbye and bite our tongues just to be able to see our loved one for the last time, the way I saw 3 other families do so the previous two days. My grandma did not want to spend her last days at Hospital of Central CT but due to the unfortunate circumstances she had no choice. God willing I hope me or any of my loved ones never have to set foot in this hospital again. Thank you!
American "Healthcare" is the biggest joke there is. YouTube Europeans reaction to American healthcare. See for yourself.
The worst waiting room in the country, and the staff was incredibly inattentive to anyone with a medical issue. There should be no need to wait over 3 hours just to be checked into a room. I wouldn't choose to go here for anything ever again, and would rather crawl to another hospital.
On my 1stvisit I coudnt put my finger on it but it's almost like I didn't feel safe there. Most of the nurses were okay I guess but very much lacked bedside manner and compassion one would expect.I returned the following day and it was a welcoming difference. Staff was genuinely courteous caring and patient.
I was there 2/15/22. Excellent staff, excellent service, excellent knowledge, exceeding care. People checking me in, taking my blood, nurses, staff checking my vitals, maintenance letting me know if the bathroom was occupied or not, doctors, MRI team, person who rolled me up to rhe MRI room. Every-single person was an expert in their craft. No one wants to go to the ER, but the experience was actually pleasurable due to how I was treated. No complaints at all. I appreciate you all!!!
If I did not have to put a start I wouldn't some.of the nurse are very nice but other are just here for the money and don't care when someone tells you it hurts to walk because your legs are stiff and because you had sezuires and then they give you attitude and say they don't care they should not be a nurse end of story I don't care about your problem leave them home I will make a promise I will make sure this nurse looses her job!
My grandfather has had a great hospital stay here and Howard was AMAZING to him when it came to his orders and special requests. My grandfather can be a little hard so it was so nice to see Howard being so patient with him. I gave it 4 stars because even after passing through security multiple times, mind you on Easter, Roberto decided to give us a hard time after the 4th time of going through. Shame on that man and this company for employing someone so nasty.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
