I have been taking a family member to Dr M for awhile . We find the the attention to the patient is, and has been top notch . With my family members diminished capacity he goes out of his way to explain. Dr. M is kind, gentle and great bed side manor . We recommend him highly.
Very thorough Very kind staff
I still think that there’s more to the depression, because depression alone is not gonna cause memory issues, and when I was hit by a car and I was semi-unconscious, I think he should have done more testing to rule out everything. Jabbing, or poking at my knee is not gonna get the answers from memory.
don't see this doctor unless you already know your neurological condition is a headache, they are more eager to whip out the prescription pad than to listen to symptoms and discuss concerns, which is how they ended up insisting my symptoms are migraines (they are not), & insisted I take a medication that I TOLD THEM makes my symptoms much worse (thanks for trying to shame me into taking it), and offering me other tests "if I really wanted them, but we won't find anything" instead of *thinking* about my case and saying "I don't know" when you obviously did not know, and *CARING* when I reported that your medication pick was not good for me bc you were wrong, you missed some things; you were quick to send me off with an inappropriate treatment plan, and without meeting the standard of care that patients have the right to expect from a specialist visit just a thought: maybe you shouldn't prescribe willy-nilly just bc you *project* that a patient wants your attention & a prescription to validate their feelings? I don't need a party favor, I'm not five, but I did walk out of your party feeling like I'd seen a real live clown
I waited months for my appointment. Was disappointed, however, that Dr Montanye had not reviewed my tests results nor medical records prior to my visit.
Warm, comforting and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend, five stars !
Zero stars. Made me feel as though I was wasting his time like I picked him out of a phone book to go to him when that wasn't the case I was referred by my doctor
Dr Montanye is not only brilliant, but kind and compassionate as well. He patiently answers questions, explains medical conditions, and offers support. His staff is also friendly and kind. I could not be happier with this Neurology service.
This Dr does not listen or acknowledge anything you say. Its like talking to yourself. He tried to assume I had td with barely hearing me, ande telling him 3 of my other dr say it is not He at that point hadnt even examined me yet. I did not want to go back after similar experience with him prior to this appt, but I basically was given no choice. He stands there and acts like ur not even talking to you. It was probably the most frustrating dr appts Ive ever had. I had to constantly persist he send me to someone, somewhere for answers if he can not help me and it was like pulling teeth to even get a response. Finally He told me he was sending me to a movement specialist, but never told me what he thought it was, (found that out from my primary a wk later) but wouldn't give me the name of the dr he was sending me to or any information on him. Very unprofessional and unknowlegable. If I get diagnosed with something he could've caught, you I WILL be contacting my attorney if there are permanent damages due to something found that could've been prevented. Very unhappy Patient.
Dr. Montanye takes time to actually listen, give options, and come to an agreement together. He is well informed and spends a generous amount of time providing thoughtful information. He is what I expect from a specialist, and helps me to feel confident that I am in good care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
