Dr. Wiznia is a gem! He is thorough, intelligent, highly educated and just an overall nice person. He really wants to help you get the best results for your eyes. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a first or second or third opinion. His staff is also friendly and helpful.

I became one of Robert Wiznia's first patients when he came to New Haven over 45 years ago. He saved my eyesight twice, once when I was 26 and the second time at 36. He is immensely knowledgeable and competent. I wish I could freeze his age so that he never retires! Kind, helpful staff in original office!

Fantastic doctor! Brilliant and caring. Dr. Wiznia worked with me to improve my health so that I could proceed with surgery. I feel like a new person with my customized knee replacement. I highly recommend him.

I have had an excellent experience with this surgeon. He is smart, kind, talented, and diligent. The surgery has been truly life changing, and Dr. Wiznia has been supportive throughout. His secretary is extremely nice, too!

The worst he canceled my surgery date at the last minute. He claimed that he had a speaking engagement on the day of my surgery. It gets even worst his assistant did not fill out my son's FMLA papers, she told me that they don't fill them out until surgery is completed which is a lie. I wouldn't recommend this doctor. She asked me to pick another surgery date I choose another which I did. She told me she will call me to let me know what Dr. Winzia, says she said I will call you back that Friday evening or the following Monday, she called me on Thursday, telling me I was supposed to call her that was not the conversation we had Renee King. Too thru after I did all I was asked to do.

Very intelligent, very caring, very skilled surgeon. These qualities are hard to find so I am grateful to my friend who recommended this doctor. All my questions were answered before my surgery, and the recovery has been going well. Highly recommend this surgeon!
