Very cocky and a bit rude when speaking to me two days after surgery. I had a few questions about some turn of events that took place during surgery, but I was cut off by him while talking and explaining to him what I was going through. He said that I was yelling which I definitely wasn't but I asked his assistant did he hear me yelling at him. Dr Gibson then said to me," My assistance is not going to answer your questions because he works for me". He kept telling me to chill out which was totally inappropriate for a doctor to say to a patient. At this point I'm not really feeling him. Im really glad I made a recording of the whole conversation.💯👍🏾

Dr. Gibson listens to his patients, explains options, and cares. He is also an extremely skilled surgeon.

Very kind and professional. Explained things in great detail and I didn’t feel rushed. I am a nursing student and took care a lot of Dr. Gibson’s patients without letting them know he is doing my bilateral knee replacement in July. Everyone spoke so highly of him. I felt like I was on an episode of undercover boss. lol

Before Dr. Gibson went to Yale he was a very good surgeon. I don’t know what happened to him once he went to Yale. He became very uncaring I would never recommend him for anyone needing to go undergo a revision of any joint surgery. He is a narcissistic and blames everything on the patient rather than taking on any responsibility himself. Neither he nor any of his partners actually do a physical exam on the patients they go totally by x-rays, And as mentioned they have a tendency to blame the patient or something the patient is doing rather than taking any responsibility on themselves. Years ago I would’ve told anyone to go out here. I am leaving this practice

I had a great experience with Dr Gibson and his team.my son was his patient first he did 2 hip replacements on him. I fell and injured my knee went to him best medical experience I ever had wish he was my Dr for everything. Much love ❤️ to the whole team.

I have never met a doctor like him. Professional yet personal. He makes you feel like your his only patient. Takes time to answer all your questions and explains everything to your satisfaction. Terrific bedside manner. Has a sense of humor.

I was pleased with Dr.Gibson. I was recommended to go to him by a very close friend. After I a few visits. I found out that he was former classmates, family member and sorority sisters' orthopaedic surgeon.
