Bad experience

Dr. King-Stephens has been my Neurologist for 17 years and I have nothing but good reviews. He spent quality time with my family and I going over my health history. He had me undergo multiple procedures in order to confirm that I was a candidate for brain surgery (temporal lobectomy). Since this surgery I have been blessed to never have another grand-mal seizure. I was still having auras but with the newer seizure medications I have done very well. I rarely have auras and I am blessed to be able to work part time. I see him for yearly appointments and have phone calls with him if needed since I live so far away. He is an excellent Neurologist.

This man should NOT be able to treat patient in any country. My one and only visit with this man was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. He was 30 minutes late, his 'evaluation' was inaccurate (he said he did tests for evaluation, but took us from a closet waiting room to his office.). He wrote things he NEVER discussed with us. He was disciplined and had to rewrite his notes of the visit after I complained to the hospital. He admitted to some of the issues, but never admitted to some of the major issues. At least he had to correct, not willingly, some of the information on my chart. Avoid any appointments with this person.....

Dr. King-Stephens made me feel comfortable and in control during a very frightening time in my life--both pre- and post-brain surgery. He is caring, thoughtful and patient. Tops in his field of practice. His entire team and office are amaazing!
