I've been Monitored BY Dr Elefteriades since 2010 And Bi annually since 2012 for My repaired Type A Aortic rupture and Dr E is one of the most Knowledgeable Doctors In The NE region That I have met I've been in the Office when He was asked to confir with Doctor M Oz ( of TV and Columbia Presbyterian NY) Fame was On the line, seen his In office consults with other Patients as well as His own Segment on through the wormhole the subject was about the procedure used when They are required to stop the heart for repair and Ice the Patients blood To preserve Brain function, I have referred A Number of Folks In the Aortic Family to his Office, as well as To His Cardio Vascular Colleagues, Including Those who began with Yale Medical who have gone out into the world to spread thise important Knowledge, God Bless Dr. Elefteriades

Dr Elefteriaded was an excellent surgeon he did a fantastic job replacing my valve and removing my aortic aneurysm. I had no complications and I healed quickly thank you Dr.E Connie

Dr. E and his staff are the best you could hope for if you have been diagnosed with an aneurysm. You are scared and concerned. Put your fears with Dr. E. He will repair your heart better than before and care to all the concerns you and your family have. I saw Dr. E every single day for the 6 days I was in the hospital. Don't choose a local guy to hopefully repair your heart correctly. Go to him and be confident that you have the best!!!! As for the wait times and rescheduling. Please remember that Dr. E considers the condition of all patients and puts the most critical in the front. You would want the same for you or a family member, as well!

I can’t express more how happy I am and how lucky I feel to have had “Dr. E.” as the surgeon who operated on my aorta in Sept 2019. He has a wonderful caring manner and is recognized as a world leader in aneurysm treatment and research. The whole experience went without a hitch. Dr. E. and his staff are a class act. After waiting hours for each office visit, one of which ended up being cancelled, had a positive impression of this doctor. He said he would operate on me and then cancelled my surgery multiple times at the last minute. Strung me along for a year and then finally said he would not help me, that I would be fine, while my heart condition grew worse. I think he was just scared of the seriousness of my condition, but he should have said that from the start. Finally went to another hospital and was successfully operated on. I could have died while I waited on Dr. Elefteriades.

Dr. E performed open heart surgery on me in January of 2004 ( Yale New Haven), and did an expert job! I have been in good health with no complications from the surgery. Dr. E presents himself as an honest and caring person, and a superior surgeon. Richard Phaiah, Danielson, Ct.

Dr. Elefteriades is an incredible surgeon. My mom, Elizabeth, back around 2009 to 2010,. not only had 1 aneurysm, but 3, and she is considered a "walking miracle woman," thanks to Dr. E, and his team with the surgeries she had to do!!! I recently found out I am having heart problems, and I will be trusting my life with this man!! An incredible surgeon, and won't let you down!!!

After giving birth to twins in 1998, I had severe pain in my upper back. Once it was established that I had a descending Aortic Aneurysm, I interviewed 3 Thoracic Surgeons before deciding to trust my life with Dr. John Elefteriades. He is a gentle, wise and great listener and I am thrilled to say after open-heart surgery and months of recuperation, I was well enough to go home and raised my children who are both now 21 years old.
