Kenneth Donohue Md's Online Review Report Card

I can not recommend Dr. Donohue enough. I hurt my shoulder while in rescue swimmer training in the United States Coast Guard back in 2013. After two unsuccessful surgeries (SLAP tear, Stabilization), I lived in consistent pain and limited activity for years. As a disabled veteran, I went through the VA process to try and figure out what was the root of my shoulder pain. After 4 years of trial-and-error therapy, I was finally referred to Dr. Donohue who immediately identified the problem. I had a biceps tenodesis and revision bankart repair in November of 2021, and 10 months after my surgery completed my first Ironman 70.3 race. I can now play with my daughter and go about my daily activities as a healthy, mid 30s male, with almost no pain. Thank you Dr. Donohue.

Dr Donohue performed my surgery on May 19, 2022. He did a fantastic job and I am pain free. He is very kind and very very skilled. In my opinion he is the best. Also, the staff at the Guilford, Ct. location is awesome. They greet everyone with kindness, courtesy and compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Donohue.

I broke my clavicle into multiple pieces and it was not healing on its own like the hospital surgery residents initially told me it would. I went to Dr. Donohue's office for follow-up since he previously operated on my wrist and saw his colleague while he was on vacation. Even though Dr. Donohue was not working, he reviewed my images and scheduled me for surgery the following week. The surgery was successful, and my clavicle and shoulder are healing well. Dr. Donohue really went above and beyond for me and I recommend him highly.

Dr. Donohue was highly recommended by many of my friends and coworkers for this complex wrist surgery. He explained the procedure in great detail and answered all questions. The surgery went smoothly, and he referred me to an excellent physical therapist and oversaw all of my rehabilitation. I highly recommend Dr. Donohue for anyone needing orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Donohue Did my shoulder replacement surgery on June 9th 2022. From the moment I left the hospital I have had no pain, He did exactly what he said, improved my quality of life and relieved all my shoulder pain. I have great range of motion and working on strength exercises. He is a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who is dealing with shoulder issues, he also specializes in the elbow.

This was my 4th shoulder surgery and my 3rd rotator cuff repair. I'm back to normal!!! The rehab was very different than previous ones, but a total success. Can recommend without any hesitation.

Dr. Donohue is a stellar surgeon. My surgery was scheduled 5 weeks after my initial visit. As a professional violinist, limited mobility and strength along with pain made it very difficult to play. After surgery, I am now playing pain free - thanks to Dr. Donohue and the physical therapists at Yale. Dr. Donohue took the time to explain the procedure and his staff was enormously helpful in helping me navigate throughout this entire experience - from pre-op to discharge from the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Donohue!!

I had Dr. Donahue do a reverse shoulder replacement on December 3, 2022 I can’t say enough how professional Dr. Donahue was I have completely healed and I would highly recommend him he is a fantastic doctor very professional extremely happy and grateful to have found him. 5+ stars are more for him. thank you again Dr. Donahue for leaving me pain-free

had been suffering from severe shoulder pain/arthritis for several years. Tried everything to manage the pain and rehabilitate the shoulder. Dr Donohue was very professional from the first visit and did an excellent job of diagnosing what was wrong with my shoulder. He had me scheduled for the surgery in a surprisingly short period of time. The surgery and the stay at the hospital was very quick and simple. Now I am almost six months into recovery and my shoulder feels great, the pain is gone and my mobility is back to normal. I am so grateful i can live my life pain free and I can do all my normal activities again. Dr. Donohue did a terrific job and made the process very simple and quick..
