I see him annually for a checkup and more frequently if I am experiencing symptoms that seem more than expected. I have been going to him for more than 25 years. He asks questions on how things are going. He is direct, honest and clear on what his diagnosis or medical opinion is on a concern he or I may have. He listens to what I have to say and then gives options to follow. A genuinely good person and a very competent Doctor.

Dr. Young has been my family PCP for over 30+ years and I wouldn't go to anyone else. He is kind, consistent and very thorough. I have never once felt rushed during my time with him. He is patient, detailed and thoughtful in answering questions and has a really great memory when it comes to family and medical history. I also love that he is communicative via Sutter's 'My Health Online' web portal and app. Michelle, Adrienne, and all of the staff there are wonderful. I just love them! :)

Dr. Young is a very thorough, knowledgeable physician. He never rushes his patients (my parents, husband and I all go to him). Dr. Young always follows up when he says he will. I highly recommend him as a physician

Dr Young has been our family physician for 26 years. He is brilliant. He is kind. He works very hard long hours and still has seen us after 6pm during emergencies. He remembers family and what we have experienced. His records are impeccable. He is soft spoken, gentle and finds the most kind ways to be direct. The women who work in his office are so wonderful. They are efficient, resourceful and personable. They really have helped me help my husband

Just for those who don't know this is the doctor that many of the medical staff at Peninsula Hospital choose to be their primary care physician. There is a reason for that. He is great. He doesn't try to rush through his clinic, he takes time with his patients and individually assesses the problem at hand and meticulously prescribes his treatment plan for that patient. Just thought you would want to know that Dr. Young is one of those rare doctors that are becoming extinct. Get him while you can.
