I was recently hospitalized due to a resistant infection and placed under the care of a surgeon and infection prevention specialists, including Dr. Bortan. My experience as his patient was nothing short of excellent. Dr. Bortan provides a very thorough treatment plan and explains the options very well, all while exhibiting a genuine compassion and concern for the wellbeing of his patients. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bortan should stand by his patients better. I have been to him sveral times. Put in the hospital twice. Still have same problem. A lot of the problem is L & M hospital.

He has an interesting manner that takes time to feel comfortable with. Dr. Bortan has been treating me for 7 months for a non- healing wound. He has taken the time to evaluate my overall health focusing in on my low weight and protein level. I would highly recommend him. Again do not be put off by his manner, he has a different approach. He cares greatly for his patients and works well with other doctors.

Dr. Bortan came to do a consultation when I was hospitalized with a pretty bad staph infection in my hand. He was very engaging, interested and attentive. He had a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend him.
