Jeffrey Mark Kagan's Online Review Report Card

Dr.Kagan is top notch. He is incredibly thorough and knows what to look for in spotting any challenges with your personal health. I credit him for potentially saving my life on uncovering a heart condition I did not realize I had. His expertise on getting me on the right path to correct the problem I believe allows to be here today to write this review. I am happy to give him a high recommendation.

I was sick with Covid and he did a virtual visit with me and placed me on steroids and an antibiotic and i got better sooner.

Visit was great. Very knowledgeable friendly staff. Dr. Kagan was a great help to me taking his time reviewing My Chart at Hartford Healthcare. Dr. K reviewed my problems and meds. Dr. K provided me with many great recommendations and made some changes to my meds and ordered some new meds and tests. He is now my new Primary Care Doctor.

Dr. Kagan listens to his patients and provides the best care. He is very easy to talk too and he explains everything so you understand. He is a great doctor. I’ve been seeing him for over 20 years. I highly recommend Dr. Kagan.

I saw Dr. Kagan on 4/8 and 4/9 for severe abdominal/back pain. Based on the results of an ultrasound, he believes it to be a bile duct blockage. He ordered an MRCP on 4/9 and I was told that "Naz" would precert. I set up the MRCP for 4/21. It is now 4/20 and it has still NOT been precerted. I have called the office FIVE times and NEVER get a call back despite being told each time that the precert WOULD be done and I WOULD get a call back from the office. I called again just now and the person who answered told me that "Naz" is off and basically I am out of luck. SO, almost three weeks of pain and of doing everything I could and now I cannot get the test because Dr. Kagan's office has not done what they repeatedly told me they would do. Cigna even called on my behalf yesterday because they need more info and was told the same thing; that it was being worked on and would be done yesterday. When I called today; I asked that the staff please speak directly to Dr. Kagan since Naz is out and ask that he call Cigna to give them the onfo they need. The response I got from the person on the phone was "I'll send a note. That's the best I can do" and then they ended the call. I absolutely loved Dr. Kagan when I saw him but the lack of follow up is beyond belief.

Dr. Kagan has been my PCP for almost 30 years and he has literally saved my life on at least three occasions. He is always professional and extremely caring for me and my wife, who is also his patient. He always listens to our concerns, asks informed and important questions, and is always helpful in the steps needed to be taken to improve our lives whether it includes medication or not. His staff is also wonderful, so caring and respectful of all patients. Dr. Kagan is simply the best!
