I have been going to Dr. Eickhorst for about 7 or 8 years. Had some skin cancers removed. She has been the best dermatologist I have had my whole life. Highly recommend her as she is warm, personable and explains everything very well.

Dr.Eickhorst is simply a magician! There are no words to express my happiness with her treatment, the outcome and her bedside manner. I actually described her as "freaking amazing" and its true!

Dr. Eikhorst missed a basal cell cancer in the middle of my face which I pointed out ... she dismissed it and did the bare minimum of what was to be a body scan. Thank God I went to another Doctor and got the care I needed to be cancer free ... If I didn't it would have grown possibly into my eye. Beware of the Doctor that is unfocused on medical care and focused on being a friend.

I am at very high risk for skin cancer and was concerned about several spots. She spent 5 minutes with me at most. She dismissed my concerns without explanation, but did let me know exactly how much I needed to pay out of pocket for anything to be removed. Before I could formulate a question, she was in with her next patient. I went to a different doctor and am now waiting on biopsy reports. She may perform surgery well, but I wouldn't trust her to make any initial diagnoses, or to treat patients as actual.people.

I recently relocated to Salisbury after years in NYC where I still have most of my medical providers. A biopsy during regularly scheduled NYC dermatologist visit revealed a facial basal-cell carcinoma needing Mohs surgery. By divine Providence & Google, I found Dr. Kimberly Eickhorst & scheduled Mohs surgery with her in mid-May. Utterly fabulous at what she does! The whole office runs smoothly & works so well. Competent, responsive, kind. And the surgery, which is after all the raison d’etre for it all, was marvelously done: simply WORLD-CLASS SKILL & RESULTS. The surgery itself was smooth, attentive, little (if any) discomfort. The results are magnificent. Wow! This is where to go. Thank you to the good doctor and the team there.

Dr. Eickhorst is pleasant, and I’m sure she is proficient at clinical dermatology. But I wouldn’t choose her for cosmetic procedures. I saw her twice for anti-wrinkle and filler injections, and was left both times with unfortunate results (a droopy eyeeyelid and an ununeven, lumpy face). I won’t be going back a third time.

I have a few skin tags that I’ve been meaning to have removed and I also needed a body scan of skin spots and moles. I kept putting it off but finally decided to book the appointment. I am SO GLAD I DID!! Dr. Eickhorst was beyond amazing!! From the moment she entered the room with her bright smile and cheery disposition, I knew I was in good hands. Her nurse, Donna, was also so delightful! If every doctor was as thoughtful and caring as Dr. Eickhorst is, I would have no problem going! Now that I’ve gotten what I needed removed, I’m looking forward to returning soon for the cosmetic services she offers as well! Thanks for everything!!

Dr. Eickhorst was a new find for me after my wife and I relocated to the area. I chose her because of her specialty in Mohs and I am always pleased when I make right decisions in life. The DAWC, as a whole, presents itself in a most professional and helpful manner. They are punctual in their patient follow-up and never fail to call to inquire how I was doing after a procedure. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and very patient friendly. Dr. Eickhorst and her support team of nurses and specialists are nothing short of amazing. At the least, her professional skills in dermatology are what you want when dealing with sensitive skin issues, especially during Mohs procedures. In addition, her patient manner clearly exudes friendliness, compassion and - a great sense of humor. It is comforting to know that doctor treating you makes you feel like you are the only patient she has. Having said all this, I can't remember the last time I had such a good time at the doctor's office - and the home-made muffins and coffee on surgery days were a bonus...

Having just completed my second MOHS procedure with Dr. Kimberly Eickhorst of Dermatology Associates of Western Connecticut, I can only praise and highly recommend her and her positive, friendly and supportive staff. From the upbeat voice of Rene on the phone scheduling the appointments to Donna’s attention to patiently showing my wife how to do the complex bandage procedure at home, the entire staff follows Dr. Eickhorst’s example and exudes an upbeat positive attitude making one feel valued, welcome and comfortable. IMO, Dr. Eickhorst is a highly skilled MOHS surgeon. My first visit was for a basal cell carcinoma on the very tip of my nose. Prior to surgery, I feared being left with a noticeable scar. However, thanks to Dr. Eickhorst’s surgical talent, two months post-op and one would ever know a scalpel had even been near my face. Thank you Dr. Eickhorst. Chris J, Sandy Hook, CT
