List of Anish Umanglal Shah's Reviews
They put a cracked lense in my eye and I was blind for 2days. Went for recheck and he realized it. He apologized and said we will do it over and you won’t have to pay a penny. The next surgery went well but the lense needed to be zapped with a blue light that he never did. I got billed for the second surgery. I had to call and go to the office several times. I asked him to help me out and give me a deal with the next eye. He agreed but later denied it. They ended up sending me to collocations!
Dr. Shah is amazing. When discussing cataract surgery Dr. Shah explained my options thoroughly. I opted for the lenses for distance and reading. I could not have made a better choice for both my lenses and my surgeon. My bifocal glasses, that I have worn for years, are no longer on my night table waiting to be put on when I wake up and be worn all day. I now have 20-20 vision in both eyes, and can put my make-up on without a magnifying mirror. Exceptional care and results. Thank you Dr. Shah.
Dr. Shah is an excellent doctor. He truly cares for and understands his patients and their situations. He take his time to explain to his patients exactly what the problems are, and what they best course of action is to fix them.
He is a personable doctor who is easy to talk to and willing to answer questions with understandable language. But I am unconvinced of his abilities. He did not take the proper time to fully examine my eyes, which resulted in inaccurate prescriptions for both eyes—something very obvious to me as soon as I put on my new glasses. I don't believe he examined one of my eyes at all, going off of the prescription that a medical assistant had determined. I am not sure I would recommend this location.
Outstanding doctor - spends a lot of time with me. Explains things well. Takes into consideration my family history. His exam is the most thorough possible, and I am amazed at the things that he sees way in the margins of my eye. Went once for eye injury. He examined me, finished the exam and said the situation would probably heal in 5 days but then said "wait - I just decided to go an extra step with you", and he stayed with me another 30 minutes ruling out additional complications. Showed genuine concern. Went over and beyond.
LASIK surgery - went perfectly. Great office, pleasant experience, excellent results.
At annual vision check up,he checked very careless, I told him I could not see the big letter, without spending more time to find out the best prescription for me, he sent me home with the wrong prescription for lens,I could not see well, nausea, bunning eye, his nurse Alexeis checked again found he gave me a very wrong prescription, without apologize, He said I was over reacting.
I am very happy with Dr.Shah. My 2 things I do not enjoy. Long waiting time, and the time it takes for a call back phone call.
He is kind, funny and explains yhings in an easy to understand language. He has opersted on three members of my family, from cataract surgery to LASIK. He is also really a great surgeon and I will never go to anyone but him.
I was referred by my primary care physician who was telling me he knows him personally and that I would love him. So I had very expectations. Well, to say the least, Dr. Shah exceeded my expectations. He is caring, kind and genuinely interested in solving my eye issues. I have now referred 4 family members and 3 co-workers to him. A genuinely nice guy with an immense talent for what he doe.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
