September 13, 2023, and my husband still can't walk and is in full pain....repeated hospital trips and therapyy....2 and a half months later another trip to hospital......Dr. Wagner damaged Mt husband for life....I hate You Dr Wagner
Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor, he could care less what was going on with me, but was gracious enough to give me three minutes of his time in which he couldn’t be bothered to answer any of my questions, just write a couple of Scripps and MoveOn. The Dollar General of doctors. Not even disappointed just mad. 9:00 o’clock appointment back in my car at 9:25.
Waited almost 2 months to get in and go 3 min of the drs time. Didn't even have me take my shoes or socks off to diagnose a foot pain. Asked about another pain and was told to go see the dr who did the operation 22 years ago. Worst experience I have had at a "Doctors"

I felt as if he dismissed my concerns and spent no time with me at all nor did he listen to why I was there. He was very dismissive.
Dr Wagner treated me very professionally. He Answered all my concerns about my surgery. Surgery was great and recovery was not bad at all. At 5 weeks I feel fantastic. I will highly recommend Dr Wagner to friends and family..
I suffered from severe sciatica pain for over 8 months. Physical therapy, medication, and steroid injections didn’t help, and my symptoms only got worse, to the point where I was becoming incapacitated. I was referred to Dr Wagner, who recommended I have surgery (laminectomy) to relieve the compression on the sciatic nerve. Using models and my MRI images he showed me exactly where and how the surgery would be performed and answered all my questions. I felt I was in very capable hands having Dr Wagner perform the surgery, which was done on 9/7/22. As soon as I woke up in recovery I had immediate relief from the severe nerve pain down my legs. I now have my life back! I highly recommend Dr Wagner to anyone needing lumbar spine surgery
My vertebrae was broken in 2 places, and the symptoms I had meant I had to undergo spinal surgery or try wearing a brace first and risk a lifetime of urinary retention problems. I was completely at peace with Dr. Wagner. His fellowship in spinal surgery at Brown suggested to me that he got into this profession for all the right reasons, since he did not waste time taking an easier "fluff" fellowship. It also helped that this "serious" fellowship was exactly the specialty that I needed. Upon getting to know Dr. Wagner over the course of a few days I found him to be sincere, funny, compassionate, very intelligent, and most important of all he seemed to be genuinely passionate about his job. The visiting nurse who came to my home the day after my release from the hospital even said she thought that the scar on my back looked very well done. This spoke to the attention to detail and to excellence that I quickly came to expect from Dr. Wagner. I hope to never have to require his services again, but I'd recommend him to anyone who needs spinal surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
