You can refer to my initial review of norwich orthopedics back in July- but not only was he dismissive, rude, condescending and toxic, but he was wrong. What he deemed “fine” 2 months ago, I am still in recovery for and am meeting with a surgeon next month. If only he actually cared about his patients, not their checkbooks. And since I can no longer reply to these reviews: I have no need to continue seeing you, as I found a doctor who actually treated me immediately and I am on a surgical plan already. Contrary to your belief, my insurance covered an MRI, THAT I NEEDED, immediately. Weird, right?

I went to Dr. Wei for baker cysts in my left leg, extremely swollen and severe pain !! Pequot Health Center recommended Dr. Wei. Dr. Wei was in and out in 5 mins !! I was at the office for 2 hours !!Very unprofessional, making remarks like " That's what happens when you get old ! You have MS so you have other issues, severe arthritis !! X-rays were taken but never showed to me ! Dr. Wei didn't listen to me or my concerns ! Very sickening that I was just a number and I will report this to the Medical Board. Dr. Wei needs to stop seeing patients if he doesn't CARE about a human being !!

Dr. Wei is an excellent, caring surgeon. He operated on my shoulder for a full rotar cuff tear in September of 2021. I am almost back to normal in living my every day life. I would recommend Dr. Wei wholeheartedly and trust him to make sure that his patient receives the best of care. He is easy to communicate with and makes sure that his patients are well informed. You can not go wrong in going to this knowledgeable surgeon. He is the best of the best.

Didn't let me finish a sentence. Brushed me off when he heard my past medical history and decided that was the problem. Told me not to do "fancy exercises for the glamour of it" if they cause me knee pain. Sorry, but squatting and stepping up on a box (or step) are kind of essential for basic functioning. Did not complete a full assessment of my knee. Did xrays and performed passive range of motion. Very rushed. Very concerned he missed something. I have no trust in this man or his terrible bedside manner.

Absolutely the best orthopedic doctor here in southeastern CT. Dr. Wei is knowledgeable, his bedside manner is terrific, and he’s genuine. Not only do I see Dr. Wei, but I’ve referred friends and family to see him too.
