I have seeing him for years now about an ongoing back and neck issue. He takes a good amount of time to talk with you and assess your issues. I have never been rushed by him. I think a lot of people complain about the wait time for him, but I'll wait my turn. I wouldn't want a rushed 10 minute visit and I'm sure I will never have one with him. He definitely knows what he's doing.

Told me 97% pain free after surgery. Lied made it much worse instead

He told me after surgery that I would be 97% pain-free instead he made it much worse and did not own it And all of of this on top of two hour wait in the office.

Very good doctor that doesn't beat around the bush. I had a discectomy done on a herniated disc (L5-S1) that needed surgery and went to Dr. Paonessa for a second opinion. From the start I knew he was the doctor I trusted most with the surgery based off what I had heard from others and reviews. I had the surgery done in May 2015 and it is now March 2016 I feel like a new person. This is the man you want to see!

The shortest wait I had for an appointment with Dr. Paoness a was an hour, and more than once had to wait for two hours. There is no forewarning from staff that he is running behind.. Their only comment was they are sure his patients understand. Well, I DON'T understand. Although his treatment of my problem was fine, I will seek out someone who is more organized and/or considerate of my time in the future.
