List of Nimit Patel's Reviews
Excellent in every way. TNR was a success. I came in with my list of questions and he answered them, never making me feel rushed. I would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Patel provided no value to me, other than a Physical Therapy referral, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. I have little confidence that Patel knows what the symptoms of a labrum tear are considering he missed the opportunity to diagnose me over a year ago. Had I not requested the MRI imaging myself through my PCP (after seeing Patel twice over the past year) I would have never known about my torn labrum in my hip. I don't need a doctor that just says "there is nothing I can do for that", but instead says "this is who you should see for that" or "this is what you should do for that" or "let me look into it and get back to you". It would behove Patel to listen to his patients more. Then he might have diagnosed my labrum tear sooner, preventing me from being in so much pain over the past year. Considering switching to Yale.

Excellent Dr. He was thorough and explained issues well. He was the best orthopedic doctor I’ve ever had.had.
From the very start Dr Patel and his team always explained all aspects of the knee replacement procedure and was always there when I had questions and concerns. He was very open and honest with explaining the procedure and the after care. He also reached out personally to me several times after surgery to make sure I was doing ok. I highly recommend Dr Patel and the Orthopedic Partners as the place to go when you need a total knee replacement!!
I was nervous going into right knee replacement surgery but I was under the best care. From my first visit with Dr. Patel through the surgery and post surgery process my care was excellent. Recovery was faster than expected; now after 3 months I am close to complete recovery with normal motion and activity. I found that physical therapy following surgery is an extremely important part of the recovery process in regaining balance and full activity. I plan to continue follow up periodically with Dr. Patel, his surgical assistant Adem and with the very capable physical therapists at Orthopedic Partners in North Franklin as needed. Appreciation and many thanks to all.
Everything he told me came true. I had a full hip replacement that I needed to recuperate from quickly. I had a Grandson waiting for me to babysit. Dr Patel told me I should be good to go at 6 weeks after surgery. I actually started babysitting after 5 weeks! This was climbing stairs, walking with and rocking in place with my Grandson. He helped me to be able to do one of the most important things my life will ever see. He is wonderful, he is fantastic, I’m telling you he is the best, he actually is a miracle worker. Without my surgery I never would have been able to babysit for my sweet 4 month old Grandson. If there is any doubt in your mind who you want as a surgeon, I’m telling you call Dr Patel, he is the very best!
I highly recommend Dr. Patel. I felt very comfortable and confident with him the first time we met. He is a very kind and caring doctor and made me feel listened too and not just "another patient". I never felt "rushed" at our appointments. All my questions and concerns were kindly and professionally answered. Also important, his staff are also very kind too!
Your care is only as good as your insurance. He would not discuss any MRI or Sonogram test results other than arthritis. When I specifically asked about my tendons, he actually denied the test results. He replaced my shoulder due to arthritis but was not interested in any other concerns. He did as little as possible to satisfy me. I will not return to him or his affiliates.
Dr.Patel is excellent he compassionate and explains everything clearly! The office is great with staying on schedule , communicating changes, and returning calls. It was an excellent experience being cared by Norwich Ortho!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
