I had been referred after being diagnosed with Lupus from several other doctors. I waited about 7 mths for an appt. I have a positive ANA as well as multiple troubling symptoms and a strong genetic family history. I waited 40 minutes to see her she came in looked at my previous blood work and stated it was insignificant and she would not diagnose me with lupus unless my ana was in the thousands. Didnt care to listen to my symptoms, ask me about my family history, and the extent of my exam was her squeezing my arms and legs asking if it hurt. She was in with me for about 6 minutes and most of it was staring at my chart. She then proceeded to leave the exam room while stating she was sorry she wished she had answers for me and that if she found anything more significant in my chart shed let me know. This is by far the worst new patient experience Ive ever had in my life.
If you like being kept waiting for an hour and a half so that you can see the Fellow, great. This is the pace for you. This office is inefficient and they care not a bit for their patients time. I ran out of “wait time” and had to leave without being seen. They suggested I book an 8am appointment next time. Mine was for 10:00.Wow.
Saw her in 1986 and she solved my problem. Thank you Dr. Buckley.
Went to Dr. Buckley for a second opinion . She never took my paper work I filled out about symptoms , she spent five mi it’s with me and never offered X-rays to help diagnose . She told me I have pain symptoms and disorder and have been to two doctors since and I have proof on X-ray of arthrits on si joints , thoraci spine, and neck . Doctor Buckley never gathered more information other than to speak with me to help diagnose my case . Seronegative arthrits is very hard to determine you do not need blood work results to be positive . She never offered to have X-ray to both to look at progression . She was very very rude and she hoped in the other doctors opinion and didn’t even try to dig in to investigate what is going on. When my friend and I entered she said ...... what can I do for u that already hadn’t been decided ! Rude and obviously diagnosed me before she saw me . Told me get help for pain and nothing I can do ! Before she saw me and had no intention of further examining anything . No tests ..... no X-ray ..... didn’t read any notes I was required to fill out . Waste of time , uncompadduobste for her career .
She treated my son for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and is by far the best rheumatologist we have seen. Highly recommend!
Terrible experience, in my opinion poor MD - she never even examined me or asked me questions. My previous MD left Yale suddenly &I was put in with this new MD. She gave me no guidance, didn't answer my questions & cut the appt short. I have a rare deadly disease which is treated by MS & oncology infusion centers and the new MD told me Yale would not accept me into the MS clinic because I did not have MS. I called the clinic and they said they treat this type of disease. Don't recommend.
Showed no interest or compassion in myself nor my illness. Used short and unhelpful answers to my questions and treAted me as if she had somewhere better to be and I was keeping her. Follow up appointments were even worse. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!
Dr Buckley was my dr for 18 years in richmond,va she has a wonderful caring spirit. I so miss her! Holly Scarborough
I was very disappointed. My first visit was so quick, she asked very few questions and didn't even examine me. I thought maybe it was just a busy time for her. My follow up was scheduled 6 weeks later. I thought now we would really dig in to find out what was going on with me and let me know what kind of options there were. She came in and asked if I had any questions. I told her that I was interested to know what types of treatment was available. She said unfortunately there were not a lot of good options. Them she shook my hand, said she was not going to schedule a follow up and then said good luck. I was floored. She just basically gave up on me and sent me on my way. What kind of a person, let alone a doctor would do that???
SHE WAS MY DR FOR 18 YEARS I LOVE HER SHE WAS THE BEST

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
