Dr. Sammarco was amazing. I was diagnosed with colon cancer and he was very kind. He called many times to check on me even after hours. He is a kind compasionate man.

In trying to renew a medication that needed pre authorization, Dr. Sammarco did not respond to the pharmacy, my phone call, or the insurance company for over 3 weeks. Had to go to another Dr. to get medication reordered. After a colonoscopy, his office called 3 times to tell me the Dr. Wanted me to take a medication that I had already been on for years, obviously did not bother to look at the chart.

He diagnosed me with colon cancer at age 31. He saved my life. I had no idea. He took my symptoms seriously and did my colonoscopy and called me the next day to deliver the news personally. He made sure to expedite my pathology testing so he could tell me the next day. Forever grateful for Dr. Sammarco and his team. Because of him I get to live a normal lifespan. Thank you so much.

Dr Sammarco is friendly and competent enough, but his patient care and followup is severely lacking. I suffered from a lot of pain the day after surgery but the phone numbers that Dr Sammarco provided in case of issues all ran into voicemail. I never received a followup call from Dr Sammarco other than his nurse stating that the tissue that was removed during my surgery was benign.

Never met a doctor who wanted to do surgery this fast. Stay away clearly seems more concerned about making money off procedures then the patients well being. Ended up getting my issue resolved without surgery thanks to second opinion.

I went in for a colonoscopy. Dr. Sammarco was very professional and the procedure was very smooth. He explained everything from expectations to results. Highly recommend him.

HAD COLONOSCOPY AND ENDOSCOPY DONE 18 MONTHS AQGO,3 MONTHS LATER MY PRIMARY CARE MD TOLD ME HE NEVER REECIEVED THE RESULTS. I CALLED OFFICE AND ASKE THEM TO SEND THEY NEVER DID.18MONTHS STILL WAITING. THE DR. NEVER FOLLOWED UP WOTH ME CONDITION PERSISTED AND WAS NEVER TOLD WHAT I SHOULD DO. FINALY CALLED AND A NURSE GPT IN CONTACT WITH ME THIS WAS 8 MONTHS AFTER MY PROCEDURE. I HAD TO SWITCH DOCTORS. NEW GI CALLS MY PRIMARY CARE MD AND ASKS FOR MY RECORDS.TODAY 2/5;16 AND WAS TOLD THAT THEYDONT

We have had a very difficult time dealing with this office and practice. Their poor knowledge, follow up, and overall concern had lead me to be extremely sick. Their lack of attention has now put me at risk for having to have my colon removed at 40%. Hopefully we can avoid this with our new plan of treatment.
