Incredible doctor! Super friendly, professional and efficient

Over the past 3 months I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Josh Frank. Throughout my treatment Dr. Frank was extremely thorough, followed through as promised, coordinated my treatment with a specialist and has met with me on follow up visits. I have appreciated his expertise and knowledge, his communications, his direction, his honesty and the caring, positive and friendly attitude that he has displayed. I have also been very pleased with his support staff in the Norwalk and in Westport Offices who also, have been very helpful and concerned and kept everyone safe during the pandemic..

Is my second time that I was in need of Dr. Frank and his services. I was met with speedy professional and clear instructions on what his course of action would be for my injury. He is a no nonsense guy and exudes confidence through every step. He will get this fireman Back doing what he loves in short order.

Not a good experience so far. Check in was a cattle call. No smiles and no effort to make anyone feel welcome. Doctor was fairly prompt. But my consultation was rushed and cold. No effort to make me feel comfortable and anything other than a number. My appointment was June 17th. They were supposed to have my MRI scheduled within 48 hours. Its now July 7th and still not scheduled. It took 4 calls and no return calls and I finally reached someone who said they would call back tomorrow. Proceed at your own risk.

Dr. Frank is a great doctor, he is kind and you get the feeling that he is truly concerned for your wellbeing; you don?t get that from some doctors these days. I felt like he was ?in my corner? from diagnosis to completion of therapy. I wish that he was also a general MD; if he was I would be very happy to have him as my regular medical doctor. I have no reservations what so ever in recommending him to anyone. Also his staff was great, they went the extra mile in helping me.

Extremely kind and very knowledgeable. Would recommend him to all family and friends. Couldn't walk one day, was treated by Dr Frank for a few months, and am back to regular activities. Very happy to have been a patient of his.

Dr. Frank is hands down the best Ortho in Connecticut! I am 33 and had to have my left and right shoulders repaired. I had my labrum and rotator cuff repaired on both shoulders. He did such a great job with the first operation that once I moved from the East Coast I flew all the way from the West Coast just to see him. He is very friendly, courteous, and to the point. He is very thorough in explaining your diagnosis, and he listens! Which is very rare in my experience with doctors. Although he is a surgeon... he is not surgery happy which is great. He believes that the physical therapy you receive is just as important as the surgery, and that surgery should be a last resort. I have recovered wonderfully thanks to Dr. Frank and his expertise.

I can say the front desk can be unpleasant at times, however Dr. Frank in definitely an expert in his field. I am 33 and had to have my left and right shoulders repaired. When I was considering whether to do an anterior hip replacement, something his associates did not perform, he gave me positive advice and feedback that affirmed my choice to go elsewhere for this type of replacement. However, when I saw him for my ankl, which I can barely walk on and has obvious deterioration, as seen in the X-rays, he gave me cortisone shots, which did nothing, and prescribed a foam cream, which also did nothing. The worst was that he gave me no hope for anything that could help the excruciating pain, and I don't mean drugs, I mean something repair active...PT was ok, but didn't offer any real hope. I left feeling completely dejected, and angry for what felt like a brush off. Time wise--one can always expect to wait for any Coastal dr. Apps! But avoiding the Norwalk office is a good option, as they seem to be the worst.

Dr. Frank is a highly qualified and talented doctor I would recommend him with out a doubt and if you follow what he says to the letter you will be as happy as I am with your results
