I underwent a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy on March 3 and I want to let everyone know that the entire staff from the check in, to the prep work, to the procedure, to the final exit were all wonderful and not only very professional but treated me as if I was family Thank you to everyone involved, from my original consultation and set up to my final exit were fantastic!

I like Dr. Abay very much! He was very thorough and spent a lot of time with me. Dr. Abay is extremely knowledgeable and really wants to figure out what's going on with my abdominal problem. I would surely recommend him to a close friend or family member.

When I was first diagnosed with my illness, I had to jump through hoops to get the medication to cure it. Dr Abay sent me to New Haven hospital over a dozen times, to go through a barrage of tests, most of which he had already had done. When asked by the doctor at Yale/NH hospital why my gastroenterologist had sent me, and I told him, he got really angry, and offered to write me a prescription there and then. That was years ago. Now, trying to call for an appointment with Dr Abay is basically impossible. No one in the office answers the phone... ever. Instead, you're routed to the automatic system's message line, where you get to play phone tag with the office. Unfortunately, Norwich GI seems to be the only available service of its kind in the Norwich area, so options are few.
