Always the best. I am blessed to have him as my doctor.

This review is for the medical staff/practice, not necessarily Dr. Deutsch as I don't see him personally, I see PA Kayla. This practice has the rudest staff I've ever dealt with at a practice. The office manager is completely rude and condescending. Honestly, in my adult life, I've never been treated so poorly at a place of business. When indicating why I had cancelled an appointment, I told the office manager I wasn't about to go in during a pandemic when I wasn't sick (this was during lockdown). Her answer was "other people did" - which is not an appropriate answer. The wait time is never less than 2 hours once you arrive to the time you are seen. This is unacceptable. You may go into an exam room, but once i sat in the exam room for 90 minutes waiting to be seen after sitting in the waiting room for quite a while. The last time I went in, one of the techs indicated they hadn't had the covid vaccine because they don't believe it helps - and this tech wasn't wearing a mask. To be told in a medical practice that someone doesn't believe in a vaccine is ridiculous. Finally, I gave more than 48 hours notice when cancelling my annual physical as I was traveling. I called back to reschedule less than two weeks later and my account had been deactivated - by the office manager. This means not only can I not make an appointment to see Kayla for my physical, but I also cannot get my prescriptions refilled, one of which is for anxiety - trust me, dealing with these people doesn't help. The person that took my call when I was trying to reschedule indicated the office manager would call me back as she needed to approve reactivating my account. Guess what: No call. I'm currently searching for another practice because I've had it with the absolutely horrible service, insane wait times and rude staff. Oh, and I can't get my prescriptions refilled. My last physical was just over a year ago (end of December 2021) my last appointment that I'm trying to reschedule was for 12/30/2022. And yet, my account is deactivated. My family members that also go to this practice are also switching due to similar experiences they have had. Save yourself the stress and trouble: find someone else.

Best Dr. Ever

Dr. Deutsch has been named in the past by Connecticut Magazine as a TOP DOC for women. I can understand why. He is very compassionate. He is a very good listener and offers advice that is right on the money. He also has a great sense of humor.

Found that I had heart disease, that my cardiologist didn't find !

I don't normally do reviews, . But I can't stay quiet about how Great this practice is! From the front desk who are polite and very competent, , to Dr. Deutsch who is the best primary care doctor to practice medicine in Southeastern, CT.. And If you're admitted to the hospital he will see you every day that you're there.. He finds critical medical information that other doctors miss. .Absolutely love everyone associated with this practice. The best thing that could happen is that Dr. Deutsch never retires !!!

Dr. Deutsch has helped my entire family and I out of one medical problem after another. I can't say enough good things about him and his office. My life would be much different without him. I'm not sure I would even be alive

From the day he began to practice medicine in Norwich, the quality of medical care improved greatly. He is bright, personable and has a great sense of humor. I can't begin to name all of my friends and family who have Dr.Deutsch and his wonderful staff to thank for extending their lives with good health. From early diagnosis of cancer while it is still curable to the early diagnosis of heart disease etc. Dr. Deutsch has personally saved and improved the quality of like of many. If you have a legitimate concern, his office will figure out the problem. On the other hand, it is obvious that those who are drug seekers aren't going to be happy with his office.

Dr. Deutsch is one of the best doctors on staff at our hospital. I see him make rounds almost every day. He takes the time to listen fully to his patients, is compassionate, and answers questions in an easy-to-understand manner. He knows how to analyze the information he and the staff have gathered to order the proper tests and make the correct diagnosis on a timely basis. Hopefully, he never retires!
