A very Compassionate Professional

Dr Maria Mirth is a fantastic Colorectal surgeon and compassionate soul. I wrote a book in 2019 about a surgery I had performed by her to remove a pre-cancerous: polyp my colon. It was called a serrated adenoma. Her care Ana concern for me was documented and inscribed in my book "my colon story" I haven't done much with marketing the book but it's quite a good story and a gratitude book for both Dr Mirth and Dr. Czyrko. I had been having issues for 10 years before I had my serious colon issue. The two of them took very good care of me. Their names are in the book as I had to disguise them. I now live in Florida and had to have another procedure and I'm not receiving the same quality care so I am taking this time to give this Grace to my cherished, smart, knowledgeable and caring special women. Thank you so much for being there when I needed you most ????????

Exceptional doctor, took time to listen to my concerns, did not push unnecessary tests. My surgery was complicated and the outcome is a testament to Dr. Mirth's skill. Follow up care in office visits were thorough to check for healing.

This Doctor is extremely rough with her procedures. And she also discusses patient confidential information with office staff who are not involvedin your care, which by the way is a HIPPA violation. I would not recommend her for any services. And if any reporting able-body agencies are to come across her terrible work practices, please investigate her because she is a danger to the public.

I am grateful Dr. Mirth's expertise in colon rectal surgery. I was able to experience this major surgery knowing I was in excellent hands.

Be careful: I truly thought this person was no longer in practice. I am from Columbia, SC. I had a procedure done by this individual and it turned out extremely BAD'. She actually messed me up so bad, I had to travel to a specialist out of town to get repaired. After further investigation, I learned, she used to be a cardiologist. Please, Please...BE AWARE!

I had surgery from her twice in 3 years. She is very thorough, and even called me at home at night, when I had questions about the surgery, and I could not reach her during her busy day! She wanted to make sure I had my biopsy results BEFORE the weekend, so I wouldn't worry!

Dr. Mirth is not only, in my opinion and outstanding Dr., but also a very compassionate human being. I have been to her office several times and can not recommend this practice highly enough. The staff is very efficient, accommodating, and knowledgeable as well as super friendly! When going through difficult times it’s nice to have theses professionals on you side.

Dr Mirth and her staff are so pleasant, and I immediately felt at ease. She is very compassionate, explains and educates thoroughly, and I'm very optimistic to try her recommended treatments. This is exactly the kind of doctor I was looking for, for a condition that I felt very anxious/ embarrassed to discuss.
