They have u sit in pain for hours jus to find nothing and be sent home the car I was very upset with the emergency department never experienced this unprofessional care every time I ask for someone for pain they said they’ll get something and never came I shouldn’t have to suffer neither anybody else

I came in for a procedure today and got left to starve after givien medicine and not being able to eat Solid foods they left me til 4pm served me cold soup sitting from 235 and yet has done anything about it im pissed and definitely gonna seek legal advice on this note.

In 1987 UConn Jonn Dempsey cremated my beautiful baby boy without my husband and my permission so they could do diabolical experiments on him. We were all over the Channel 8 news and I have all the documentation. They took our future away from us as we were not able to have children going forward due to their total lack of respect for the dead and their families. We were not able to get all the information because you can’t sue a state run hospital. Our beautiful Baby Boy Adam LeRoy Knott was taken off life support on May 19 1987 and used as UConn’s science experiment. I still have nightmares 35 years later. They left us with a bag of people’s remains because they burned him with amputated body parts. Don’t EVER trust a learning Hospital, they killed my baby to get his body and we could do nothing. We have never recovered from his loss and the handling of his body 💔

I relocated back to CT a few months ago. Before I left UConn was where all my physicians were. My first visit to the actual UConn facility in over 30 years was earlier this month. Because I had a stroke and several TIAs I made an appointment to see a neurologist. I made an appointment with Leeman-Markowski, Mason, MD. You all can thank him for me canceling every appointment with every other physician from UConn and most of my procedures. When asked about my history of drug and alcohol use I told the truth. I have been cocaine free for a little over 18 years and I still have a beer when I feel like it, which isn't often. Leeman-Markowski, Mason, MD took it upon himself to put in My Chart that I also used heroin, which was a lie. I called his office and asked if the note about heroin use could be removed from My Chart because it is not, has not and never will be true. His office staff left an untrue note in My Chart regarding our phone conversation. I sent a message via My Chart to the doctor and this is his response... Dear Ms. Robinson, Thank you for letting me know the discrepancy. I will remove it from my note, but am not able to take it from other physician's notes. Therefore, I started a process in which this will be systematically (across all the chart) corrected. Sincerely, Dr. Leeman-Markowski He has since removed the damming note, however; the damage has already been done. All of the above is the reason I will not recommend UConn to anyone.

I was left for 45 minutes in the exam room at the Spine Center, no letting my know what was going on or anything, as if they had forgotten about me. I was on time for my appointment yet they didn't have the courtesy to drop by and say they were running late.

extremely dissatisfied that comprehensive spine treated my friend Alicia so horribly today. firstly she had her appointment cancelled for unjust cause, then when you realized your error another appointment was set for today. Upon her arrival she was denied her appointment for care on her spinal tumors because she didn't have a copy of the MRI. Your receptionist was extremely rude and condescending to her. when did treating patients with compassion and dignity become no longer necessary? when did our oath to do no harm become irrelevant?

Racist company bad experience with pediatric dental

When my husband's regular dermatologist retired, he went to Dr. Stewart Campbell, a dermatologist whose office happened to be at UConn Health John Dempsey Hospital. When he went into the office, he had to sign all the new patient forms including, among all the pages, a notification in fine print that he might incur a facility fee depending on his insurance. He had his annual skin check and walked out with what turned out later to be over $1000 for the facility fee. Altogether he was billed over $2000 for this routine exam! All this for an appointment that had previously cost him under $500! What they did may be legal, but it is definitely not right! BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU CHECK FIRST WITH YOUR INSURANCE WHAT THE FACILITY FEE WILL BE. FURTHERMORE BE AWARE THAT THE DOCTOR'S CHARGES WERE HIGHER AT UCONN HEALTH THAN AT A NON-HOSPITAL FACILITY.

BEWARE, If you go to a physician site that is affiliated with Dempsey Hospital you may be subject to a very large "Facility Fee". I went for a routine appointment at the Dermatology office 21 South Rd Farmington. Beside the bill for services, I also received a bill for $1,100 facility fee. This was not pointed out clearly up front or I obviously would not have gone.

this review comes from our hearts my mother (Sybil Golden) was recently in room 607 hospice was there. it was such a time trying for our family the staff was absolutely amazing everybody was caring and took good care of my mother however there is one person that was above and beyond the rest her name is Denise Harris she as my father put it is like .... Florence Nightingale we both agreed she's like an angel that was sent down to take care of our family The compassion that she shows each and every minute that she's with us is a testimony to the size of her heart we want everybody to know how much she means to us I can't imagine how much harder this experience would have been without Denise I wish we could do more than just write this review and she deserves all the kudos we could give but it's much more than kudos it's our heart that she touched .we will never forgemt.. thank you Denise Harris for being the loving caring tender person that you are... all our love Don Larry.
