Community Health Center Of Old Saybrook's Online Review Report Card

Very frustrating. They refuse to perform cleaning and check up at same time, which is especially hard now that parents aren't allowed to bring children. Instead of going to one appointment like most places, you have to make 2. I made an appointment and specifically asked to schedule for when I could do both at the same time because of issues with scheduling childcare and work. They said I could do both and I waited longer for the appointed thinking I could do both. When I got there They xrayed my teeth and the dentist checked them, but they didn't clean them. I wouldn't even have scheduled an appointment there if I knew they wouldn't do both, they told me they could.

Charlie Melvin and Kaylon Koski in behavioral health are both excellent. I’d avoid Jennifer Hussman for a PCP unless you enjoy being spoken to like an errant child. She is over-the-top condescending meanwhile she can’t manage to coordinate with a specialist for test results.

I've been asking CHC since the spring to look at my teeth I know this won't let me I like complaining about a couple of teeth I have problems with and last night I had a tooth wiggle around that I didn't even know was a problem so I pulled it out by myself at 10:30 at night so I wouldn't choke on it while I was sleeping as the kind of s*** you got to deal with cheating

The drive-up/ walk-up COVID-19 testing being done by CHC in Old Saybrook is one of the best services ever provided in the town. Although lines can be long, the process is done efficiently, safely, and with professional concern for those being tested. A big thanks to Margaret Flinter and the CHC team of workers/volunteers for doing this.

I realize that we’re in the middle of a pandemic and times are hard everywhere. That being said, at the testing center at in Danbury, I have been sitting in line since 8:30am. And I still have 25 cars ahead of me at 1:30pm. There is only one person taking samples, and a few other people are walking around. It has been taking over 15 mins per car. I was expecting a few hours wait, but not like this. I’m glad the workers got their lunch breaks (I can see everyone sitting in their cars and no samples were taken in over 45mins). But I have been miserable sitting here for so long without food/water/bathroom. Trust me, if I didn’t need to be here I wouldn’t be. Why offer free and convenient testing services to the public, when you clearly can’t fulfill your word?

They had Our test results back fast. We were happy to be negative.

let's just say some things are better left unsaid and experiences I've had with community health center have been up and down and let me have been more down than ever the point I'm taking a temporary vacation from them for very personal reasons that I rather not say that's between community health center and me only so until I get the situation that's going on with community health center in me 100% completely understandably fully situated then when I feel comfortable I might return as a patient but I do not want people to shy away from going to community health center cuz everyone else has their own experiences. so please don't let my bad review and what I am currently experience shy you away from wanting to be a patient of community health center of Connecticut!!!

I have been treated with respect and compassion since I have been seeing Dr Dmowski. Because of my age and certain medical issues I have been seen by some of the so called best Doctors on the east coast and in my experience I feel truly cared for by Dmowski and the other staff, who are always professional.
