James J. Yue's Online Review Report Card

Dr Yue performed a very successful lumbar / fusion surgery for me which relieved years of pain. My recovery has gone extremely well and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. In addition to his excellent technical skills I really appreciate that Dr Yue, and his staff, have NEVER made me wait in his office. Appointments occur at the time they are supposed to. That, in my experience, is unusual for a Dr office.

Dr. Yue is very knowledgable about this field and has a breadth and depth of information on the back/spine that is valuable when meeting with him. He is prompt to follow up and answer questions, in the office and afterwards such as over the phone. Felt that he was able to and happy to answer questions and concerns that arose. I greatly appreciated his thoughtfulness and concise, thoughtful replies.

Dr. Yue is fantastic, and his staff is pleasant and professional. I couldn't be happier! They are always running on schedule, and they take the time to speak with you whenever you have a question or concern. If you have spinal issues, Dr. Yue and his staff are the best in the business. :-)

Satisfied but more information needed.

Dr. Yue is a skilled surgeon. His office however NEVER answers the phone, you leave messages that rarely get a response and if you need them to contact insurance or a pharmacy for any reason don’t hold your breath. They don’t seem to value the patients that help to pay their salary and their attitude when you express frustration about this lack of response is dismissive at best. If Dr. Yue was not known to be a good surgeon, I would have gone elsewhere. Truth be told, if My surgery was not scheduled so quickly and I had time to find another surgeon I would not have use this office at all.

Dr. James Yue is MY true definition of a caring doctor! His knowledge, expertise, confidence, and absolute patient care is exceptional. I have been a patient under his care for over 20 years! A bad car crash caused lumbar back destruction and degenerative conditions worsened, and I searched for good care. Thankfully my last hopes and prayers, were finally answered, I found Dr. Yue! (And he’s local!). I have seen many other doctors over years, and none can compare. He not only tells you how/why you have pain - he honestly teaches you about your condition! He also explains options, to address your condition and pain, in detail. Now, ANY part of this, is what ‘you hope for’ in a doctor. However, he fills every one of these aspects of a true great doctor! I am proud to refer Dr. James Yue to everyone who needs his help. If you see this, Dr. Yue, I truly Thank You!

Dr Yue is an amazing Dr that has taken care of my back since meeting him in 2003. I have had two (2) separate surgeries at L4/5 (2013) and most recently at L3/4 in June of 2021. Both times the back surgeries were successful and I am pain free. He also operated on C 6/7 an replace the disc with a Titanium disc in 2013. Again, pain free. I am always recommending Dr Yue as he is a life saver!

Talented, innovative, empathetic, caring and always accessible - that describes Dr. Yue and his phenomenal staff.5/5 can’t do justice.

Dr Yues office has moved from 889 Bridgeport ave Shelton, to 330 Bridgeport Ave Shelton. so please make sure where u are going, cuz we where not told they moved and we went to old office and sign says we are moving lol

Dismissive. Made me feel like I was wasting his time. I went to physical therapy, like he said, and have had worsening symptoms and pain the last 6 months. I got diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome by multiple other doctors later on after he said that was “highly unlikely” and was passive toward my concerns.
