Be prepared to wait in the waiting room for at least 30 mins. When I provided feedback to the receptionist I was told to tell the Dr. that it wasn’t ok.

DR Godwin harps on 6 month check ups for "Full Skin Check UP" I set up an appointment for this checkup 6 -7 months ago for (9/2/22) When I got to office was told he was not in that day. When asked why no one called was told they had an incorrect phone number. What about e mail or directory assistance??? Next available appointment was 2 months later in November, there was one in September, but I am out of town. Great Doctor but very unprofessional conduct in not notifying me.

Dr Godwin was Aprox the 4tho 5th Dr. I went to for my skin. I can not express how grateful I am that I went to him. He performed a simple biopsy that the previously seen Drs chose not to do. I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness and am beyond grateful that I finally got real direction from Dr Godwin so I wasn't wasting anymore time. The Drs I saw prior to Dr Godwin unethically just prescribed various antibiotics which were pointless as they did no testing of any kind to see exactly what type of treatmebt I needed. Although I'm still struggling to find the best medical treatment for my illness, I am grateful Dr Godwin was able to get me headed in the right direction. I would highly recommend this practice as the staff ( Jean esp) has been so supportive and accommodating as I've battled this disease. I've suffered chronically for several years to the point I started to doubt myself. I got to a point that I started to question if my symptoms were all in my head. I can honestly say that I would trust Dr.Godwin's professional opinion or treatment with my children. Words honestly can't express how much I appreciate the support, experience, and the fact that he took my words into account vs. brushing off my concerns. I will continue to seek the treatment I need to hopefully make a full recovery but I will ensure that Dr. Godwin's part of this plan as I trust him which is not easy after several personal bad experiences from the medical community. I will continue to fight this fight and pray that Dr Godwin is in my corner in the ring.

I had just the same experience over the course of at least 6 visits. Dr. Godwin wanted me to take a heavy corse of corticosteroids which I can't tolerate ever since I had Lyme Disease. In response he would spend a few minutes talking, not listening, then excuse himself saying he had to look something up and disappeared for good. An assistant next appeared, gave me a script, and told me to come back in three weeks! So much for any questions I had. I now go back to my old dermatologist where I used to live. It's a drive but well worth it!

I'm shocked to see the wonderful reviews of Dr. Godwin. I have gone to him twice now and have been extremely disappointed both times. On both occasions, he saw me for a mere 10 seconds, told me he'd be back in a minute and never returned. His assistant then came in and started to go over someone else's chart with me, then said I'm sorry and then told me I had to take a medication three times a day (which I thought was strange) and then said, no I'm sorry, just once. The next time, I was subscribed something that I was allergic to. Why ask me about my allergies if you don't even look at them. I will never go back to this doctor. Horrible! I just cannot believe the reviews I am seeing here.

Dr. Goodwin is an excellent dermatologist. He is patient, caring and kind. He listens and clearly answers all questions.

Dr. Godwin is professional and very friendly. His staff also go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. He has been great at all of our visits and I would recommend him to anyone!

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so -- unfortunately I received a very speedy body check (maybe under 3-5 minutes!) and I have had many body checks before (I go annually) -- I have a lot of family history of basal cell and melanoma...so this concerned me. I went to another local dermatologist the next day (!) and had FOUR moles removed and sent for pathology. I told this other local doctor what happened and the reply was "I am not shocked -- it's a factory there and this doctor is known for moving people in and out quickly!" Just so disappointing. Beware. I was very disappointed and am happy I went with my gut and saw another local provider.

I've seen Dr. Godwin myself + I've taken my kids to Dr. Godwin. He's a great doctor and has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend if you are looking for a dermatologist!
