List of Daniel Veltri Md's Reviews
My son had a calf/achilles injury in a baseball game on monday. The Office was able to get him in the next day. Little to no wait, and the Dr was thorough. He even told my son a personal story about his son, about understanding his body limits and advocate for himself if he feels he may be injured (son was sore from prior game but didn't want to let teammates down) Torn calf and enflammed achilles was the outcome. The doctor was great, and office staff were very friendly and helpful.
It’s been one month since Doctor Veltri did my complete left knee replacement; he has now done both of my rotator cuffs and a knee. As with the rotator cuffs, everything was done without any issues and I have pretty much full knee flexibility already. If you want your knee or shoulder done right then go see Doc V.
This office received an x-ray of my hip which showed a vascular necrosis. They scheduled me for an evaluation. At the time of the evaluation a PA entered the room. He told me I need a total hip replacement there was no examination. He told me they did not treat hips and I would have to find another Ortho, However they were happy to charge me $250 for the evaluation. I had to find another doctor and pay for another evaluation to get my hip replaced.
I was sent to this office for a hip problem caused by a vascular necrosis I was seen by the office on April 16 . I was the first patient seen by a PA. He entered the office told me I needed a hip replacement he could tell by looking at my x-rays and that this office did not do hip replacements so he referred me to another doctor. However I did receive a bill for $250. I have repeatedly questioned their billing department as to why I would be billed for something they don’t even cover. So now I have another bill from an evaluating doctor for $250 however he will cover my hip surgery.
My visit was absolutely terrible I was referred to this doctor for AVN avascular necrosis of the hip this doctor does not treat a vascular necrosis of the hip so I paid $230 for them to tell me they don’t treat us they’re absolutely terrible and unethical and I can’t see anything worse about them but I’d be happy to
My visits in this last year have been awesome with Lance. He’s very thoughtful and experienced. Compassionate also. I’d recommend him in a heartbeat for anyone afraid of shots, he puts my fear at ease.
Dr Veltri replaced my left knee last Feb and he and his office staff couldn't have been any nicer to me at all! I am going back this Feb for my final knee exam, but now I have shoulder pain and low back pain, I will see him and ask for recommendations for the low back. I love him, and the wait is worth it!
We saw the PA Lance. We didn't agree with his assessment of my 96 year old relative's condition. We saw another orthopedic doctor 10 days later and new orders were given by the second doctor reversing the PA's order. We recommend not using this practice for elderly patients.
Overall experience and outcomes with 2 ACL repairs was very good. His technical skills are excellent and his staff very helpful. The process is long and, yes, scheduling can be tricky because he is very busy. Those things could happen anywhere and when talking with him and any of his staff (medical and office) I always knew we were in good hands. He took excellent care of both of my teenagers who had sports-related injuries. Also see him from time to time helping at local sporting events.
Dr. Veltri doesn't usually see children as young as my daughter (2yo) however I insisted I only wanted her to see the best and I am so glad he did. He was amazing with her answering questions making sure we were ok and comfortable with what the treatment plan would be. She broke her leg and was at ease with casts being put on and taken off. I would only recommend for any orthopedic needs!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
