She is a good doctor. But poor communication. They sent a reminder for our yearly but fail to send a letter or call saying they wont be eccepting our insurance anymore.

She's been my eye doctor for more than 10 years and every appointment has been a good, easy to make and I have been very happy with my treatment, our conversations and my prescription.

Wow, is her office staff rude. Office appointments are always running very late, with no notification to patients waiting. Always feel rushed in and out. Seeking care now with another provider.

Caring, compassionate and extremely competent

Doctor Shternfeld saved my life by promptly diagnosing my medical problem, not even related to ophthalmology, that had been missed by my other doctors. I am truly grateful to her and highly recommend her.

Arrived 10 minutes before my appointment (scheduled at 2:20 pm). At 3:15 (55 minutes after appointment time) I checked with receptionist to see what was going on. Was told there was still one patient ahead of me, but no idea how long it would be. Asked to be rescheduled for 1st appointment of the day, whenever available. Was told “for me” 1st appointment of day would be at 2:10 pm (??) and that there would always be a wait. Seeing how well the 2:20 appointment was working out, I decided to find another doctor (my previous appointment the year before had also involved a long wait). Rude, unhelpful staff, a very poor reflection on the entire operation. Sadly, my fabulous ophthalmologist of 15 years retired. I’ll keep looking.

The staff are very rude, and not helpful. Clearly they don't want to be there or care about their job. The doctor is okay at best, and a bit rude. Although she is somewhat good at her job, she has very bad bedside manners. It takes a lot for me to write a review. Having gone here multiple times, thinking maybe the current experience will be better, the combination of consistent terrible receptionists along with a doctor who has no awareness of beside manners, I had to to write a rating. Avoid.

Please stay away! Terrible doctor and unprofessional staff. I am usually not one to write a review, unless I have had a really bad experience. I have been here multiple times, intending to give them another chance. The wait times are long, the receptionist and staff and unprofessional at best. I have shown up on time, only to have to wait 45 minutes for an appointment. The doctor is okay as far as her competence is concerned, but has terrible bedside manners and is really rude. There are multiple times where I am was expressing my symptoms, so she can have data to analyze, but she would cut me off and say I don't see this. So I must be liar who has nothing better to do than come all this, wait 45 minutes after my appointment time, to be cut off and told I am imagining my symptoms. Personally, I no longer go here, and wanted to write this review for the benefit of others who might be considering going here. Once again, I have given them multiples opportunities, so I am not basing this off a one time bad experience. Avoid this place, drive further if you have to, it is not worth it!
