She knows nothing about menopause. Literally nothing. I’ve had very severe symptoms that have been greatly impacting my life. She told me to go see a therapist because it sounds like I’m depressed, and that there is nothing she can do to relieve symptoms. She said HRT is only an option if I’ve stopped bleeding entirely and low dose estrogen birth control wouldn’t help me at all. The spotty bleeding I’ve been experiencing is because it’s probably cancer, not menopause. … I can’t make this up. All wrong information. All of it. Just a horrible experience all around. … She told me to go talk to a therapist. Just … let that sink in. … it’s MENOPAUSE. So I went to another doctor, was put on HRT, and look, night sweats, insomnia, hot flashes, irritability, mood swings, even the spotty bleeding …. Gone. Go figure.

I have been with Dr. McDonnell twenty years. She found a very rare cancer and saved my life. My oncologist said he has never found my cancer at stage one only at stage four. I will never go to anyone else.

Dr. McDonnel has been my gynecologist for many years. She is a careful practitioner and is approachable and answers any questions thoroughly. I recommend her.

I’ve been with this group since 2007 and I have never had any bad experiences. My current doctor is Dr. McDonnell and she is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and has been nothing but pleasant to me and has always listen to my questions and is very accommodating.

Finally a doctor who listens and cares and actually treats you. This is one of the few times I received medical care where the doctor didn't act like I was crazy when I gave my symptoms. She had a lot of knowledge and expertise and knew how to treat my symptoms
